We've stayed at this property several times over the years, so it's sad to see its decline because with some much needed updates, it could be great again. The nice, beach-front location directly on the bustling Boardwalk is a plus, as is the lush landscaping, but the Resort's interior needs major work. The suite accommodations need a furniture overhaul, as they are falling apart, the sinks and AC vents drip, the lamps and curtains are ancient, the mattresses are lumpy, and the outdoor and indoor pool areas need a thorough cleaning. Sadly, the Staff we encountered didn't smile much; the vibes emanating from them said they wanted to be elsewhere. The on-site Starbucks was nice; we received two complimentary coffees a day. If you're stuck for accommodations, you could endure a couple nights here, if need be, but I don't recommend staying more than that...there are fresher, more updated Resorts on the Grand Strand than this establishment. I hope they update this property sooner rather than later.

The check in process was very quick. Good customer service. Room was very nice and worth the price. Only con was no dish detergent or pails to load ice. Definitely will stay again when my family and I visit Myrtle Beach again!😊

Amazing weekend with the family, being able to enjoy the beach view balcony, the beach itself, the pools, and being able to walk to anything and everything we wanted.

Spend six nights here last week. We had a oceanfront view on the 12th floor which was cool. If your looking for an average hotel to lay your head while on vacation this is that. It is an older hotel not remodeled. It offers several indoor pools including a lazy river. It is close to the boardwalk and several restaurants. The elevator was interesting sometimes one worked and it can skip floors. If you're on the higher floors this may be an issue. The elevators in the parking garage had similar issues. The walls are thin. It can feel like your neighbor is in your room. We had some loud neighbors. I will say that was our con along with the elevators. Our room was clean upon arrival. They do not do housekeeping daily. However, they will ask if you need towels. We had to ask for trash to be removed. If walls were not thin we would pick this place again. It served its purpose for what we came to Myrtle beach for.

We had an excellent stay at Bay View Resort Myrtle Beach SC. The ocean front room deck had a wonderful uninhibited view of the ocean. We were right on the Boardwalk. There are indoor and outdoor pools. Hot Tub and gym The room itself was clean, neat updated, well attended and tastefully decorated. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The only negative we found was the annoying person in the lobby who pestered us to buy a time share . Other wise the experience with Bay View was incredible .

The room size, great. Having a washer and dryer in the room, awesome. Rusty light fixtures with a flashing half burned light, ok. A safe that makes the same sound as if someone is vacuuming on the next floor, umm. Dirty plate from the guest before stuffed in the side of the couch, eeeh.Pool area is nice!

Love the time I was there . Great view of the ocean . Room was great , very clean and comfortable. Everyone was so friendly, kind and very helpful. Can’t wait till I go back . The area is great , everything is within walking distance , so no need to drive . I loved it .

We were locked out of room due to faulty door lock. Front desk was person was less than helpful. Maintenance( night shift) was unable to help and needed support from day shift maintenance. We sat outside our locked door for over an hour waiting for someone to open the door.
