This hotel was nice and clean. VERY clean!! Great location!!! They were recently renovated so they were still working out the glitches but overall a good stay. Would have been great if my husband and I could have gotten a room on an upper floor but they weren't able to do so. But next time I will just make sure I request an upper floor when booking. Also I want to shout out the housekeeping staff. They were truly so friendly and kind. We will definitely be back. Oh and one thing I think needs to be added is a table. My husband and I order out and eat in the room but we had nowhere to eat but on the bed.

It was an overall excellent experience. The views were beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful. The room was absolutely wonderful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever been in.

Great location, most things are walkable. It’s a beautiful place to unwind after a long day. The staff is amazing, everyone greeted me in the hallway and lobby. Sharon checked me in and she was thorough explaining everything the hotel had to offer and checking how my day was when I returned for the day. The rooms are as advertised, very clean and comfortable. You can’t beat the view of the ocean! They’ve only been open about 3 months, and it’s just outside of season, so the rooms were affordable, in season probably not. Loved the free parking.. it’s rare here, but that could change. I enjoyed this place very much and will return.

My hat goes off for the manager Brad. He was so attentive. Telling us a little history of the hotel! I’m so glad they refurbished this hotel. We are here for Mustang Week and they let them host an event! Nothing like going to the Shelby in a Shelby!! The pool area is wonderful, we like the lazy river. They had a bartender by the pool with a variety of drinks/alcohol to purchase. They also have appetizers. The DJ Alex played so many great songs. We got to dance!! Played checkers and bean toss. It was really a nice place and the bathroom was not that far. That made it more enjoyable. We will definitely be back Brad!

A horrible hotel. Deceives the customers. Advertises-Free Parking, but charges $25 amenities fee per day. Horrible way to deceive the customers. No free breakfast. Will not recommend to my foes also.

Sharon at the Shelby did a wonderful job. She was always pleasant and helpful. The entire staff was very nice throughout our stay.
