today my id was expired and I had already booked my room for next night. my boyfriend was kicked out of my room with less than an hours notice and locked out of room, with not even all of our belongings while I was at work!!! no one at this hotel had the decency to inform me of their decision that they wouldn't except my expired ID and I needed to leave ASAP. and I had to get my refund from 3rd party sales Trips.com which said this booking would not be offering any refunds!! still waiting to hear back from them on refund!I will never go back there and would never recommend them to anyone after the rude people I had to deal with today!!!

Horrible! Dirty and old needs to be closed are remodeled, never look at reviews on booking . Com I was so upset about the condition of the room. Building looks old , everything is old down to the towels . Stay away

This is where they house all their “clean” linens ( wash clothes, towels, sheets). Not kept clean, this is more of a closet for trash cans, not where clean wash clothes and towels should be housed.

DO NOT BOOK A STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! Book this hotel at your own health and safety risk. This hotel DOES NOT offer housekeeping services, and they won't tell you before you arrive that these services are unavailable. The hotel is FILTHY. They do not stand behind their own property and customer service from both the front desk staff and ALL management is deplorable. This property was booked through a travel agent, they won't speak to the travel agent about any of the disgusting conditions and management refuses to address any of the concerns brought to them. (Believe me I've spoken to multiple 'managers' who refused to do anything about the situation - Dianne, and Crystal to name a few). You'll even notice this in previous reviews on Google and other travels sites. If you value your vacation and stay in Myrtle Beach you should book literally any other property. If you are okay with filthy towels, dirty floors (the list goes on). Then maybe this is the property for you. You'll also notice that despite many negative reviews on multiple travel sites management refuses to respond in any way. Weeks have been spent following up in regards to a previous stay and they refuse to even discuss the deplorable conditions.

Roaches, rooms are horrible, I felt like I was at an inn in Pennsylvania. This is def not a resort. The pool and beach towels are rags from the dollar store.

By far the WORST “resort” I have ever stayed at. From the minute I walked into the lobby and dealt with the unpleasant desk workers, I knew I had made the wrong choice. Lobby is dingy & disgusting. The floors in the rooms have most definitely never had a mop put to them. Towels had marks of dirt on them. Phone had all buttons ripped out so I had to walk downstairs for anything I needed. Initially booked an ocean view room, with a huge tree right in front of the “ocean view” when I called to complain the response I got was “what would you like me to do about it”. They do not offer shuttles to or from the airport. They do not hold your luggage if your plane leaves later than what check out time is. The hallways literally feel like you’re walking through the crack motels of Compton. Spooky, dark & dirty. I have absolutely NOTHING good to say about this stay here. I will never return & will ensure that I make sure no one I know stays here as well. The website is a LIE. Photos are farrrrr from what it actually is.

WORST vacation experience we have had. Please do not book here if you want to enjoy your vacation. We went through VRBO and it was AWFUL! The toilet was clogged, they shut water off for hours at a time for 2/3 days we stayed, the beds were terrible, the place was filthy, thick dust attached to our ceiling and blew in the wind of the fan, the "clean" dishes were dirty or dripping with water. A leak above us caused them to need to place the fridge in the middle of the kitchen and they placed huge, noisy fans/dehumidifier with water lines running to the sinks. The water ran all the way across the ceiling over the electric of the an/light and dripped on my daughters stuff. One of our guests tripped in the hall over the line. They left the soaked, dirty towels in one tub for us. The owners of the VRBO offered 1/16 of our money back as a "good faith" offering as it wasn't their fault. All of this caused us to leave 2 days early.

It was my first time going to Myrtle Beach with my family and I was excited about it. But unfortunately we hated staying at Send Dunes. It was dirty and disgusting. I wiped the floor and clorox wipe was black after the first wipe. Bed sheets and towels had stains and hole. Air vent was the biggest issue because it was covered with dust. The ceiling and the vent were both dirty. We stayed 5 nights and housekeeping never once came to clean even though we asked front desk. We had to ask for clean towels. We were told that we had to wash hotel towels during our stay which is crazy. I just used my own towels. Bath tub had a lot of rusty parts and there was a crack. We did see cockroaches in the hallway. And at some point after the heavy rain, we were asked if we had any leaks which made me think the room had leaks before or other rooms were currently leaking. I never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. There is no noise ordinance, and guests were up until 4 am and making really loud noise. Stay away from here.
