Homewood Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront

This was my little guys first spring break and first vacation and that’s to all the amenities offered at this hotel I’m the BEST MOMMY EVER! The pool area was everything and more! The game room was a nice time to waste time and have fun while it was raining. The views from the lobby during breakfast was beautiful and well as the balcony view from our room on the 19th floor and impeccable! Over all 10/10 . The only hiccup to mention was the Wi-Fi not working so well.

Overall, it was a good stay and would come back, but the tv's were freaking out and not working properly. Also, the shower kept having water leaking during showers and had to keep using all the towels to keep the bathroom dry. Restaurant had amazing food though! The Philly cheesesteak loaded fries were my husband and I favorite! Thankful for the people who were there serving us and working hard. Hopefully those couple things could just be fixed a bit. Other than that this is an amazing hotel!

Disgusting hotel!!!!! Run down!!!!! Not maintained!!!! For a Hilton shame on them. The lobby should be a sign. Don't go here!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. We booked this trip through Hilton Grand Vacations under the impression that we were getting a resort experience comparable to the Anderson or Ocean Enclave properties. Instead, we were placed at Homewood Suites Myrtle Beach, which is not a resort — it’s a run-down, family-heavy hotel with a leaking ceiling, a noisy indoor waterpark, and the atmosphere of a budget motel. There’s no self-parking, only mandatory valet at $25/day. Every time we requested our car, it took 20–30 minutes to arrive. The valet loop can only fit a handful of vehicles, so cars line up around the building while staff continue to ask for tips. Completely disorganized and embarrassing. We were also forced into a so-called “Hilton Grand Vacations presentation,” which turned out to be a three-hour timeshare sales pitch. Staff at Ocean Enclave were rude, dismissive, and sent us back and forth between buildings. I was told I couldn’t leave early or I’d forfeit my Hilton Honors points. Only after refusing to buy anything was I shuffled out a staff elevator and out onto the street. And the final straw: on the morning of our departure, we found two live cockroaches crawling in our room. I took photos, showed the front desk, and they immediately confirmed they were cockroaches and marked the room “out of order.” No argument, no denial — just quiet acknowledgment. But because I booked through Hilton Grand Vacations, the hotel said they couldn’t refund me. Since returning home, I’ve been trapped in the endless loop of “Hilton vs. Hilton Grand Vacations” finger-pointing. There’s no way to email them, no working complaint address, and their online form demands a “lead number” that I was never given. It’s 2025 — there is no excuse for this kind of inaccessibility. This was our first vacation as a couple, and it turned into a stressful, disgusting, and insulting experience. I will never book through Hilton Grand Vacations again, and I strongly urge anyone considering it to triple-check which property you’re actually being placed in before giving them a cent.

This hotel was a mixed bag. Biggest positive is location. Can walk to many attractions and activities. Short drive to most other things. We were on 16th floor and elevators were never an issue. This was Labor Day weekend and hotel was full. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Scrambled eggs and waffles available daily. Some fruit, cereal, etc. You need your room key to use the elevators and to get to pool and beach. They often did not work. We had a studio with king size bed and a pull out. My son who can sleep anywhere said it was like cardboard. There was plenty of room for 3 of us including an air mattress. Had full size refrigerator, microwave and two burners. I would stay again but maybe make my own breakfast. Lazy river was more like a stream but little ones will like. Pool was big enough, but cold. Renting umbrella and 2 chairs was $50/daily. I think they advertise $25.

Mr. Bubba is awesome. He is a great asset to your establishment. My husband and I will return. The food was delicious as well as the service.
