- Special thanks to the receptionist’s Rayan & Nooh , They tried their best to help in order to have a good experience .
- The hotel ignored all my reservation special requests .
- Filipino employee in reservation department ( man ) wasn’t helpful at all, The Filipino lady through the call wasn’t helpful as well .. poor call service!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the current policy of the Accor Hotels Group regarding the accrual of loyalty points. Specifically, I am disappointed that my request to add points for a 23-night stay at the Mercure Muscat was denied. This stay occurred within a period of less than two months and was booked through Trip.com. I believe that the exclusion of points for bookings made through third-party platforms is unfair, especially given the length and value of my stay. I hope the Accor Hotels Group will reconsider this policy to better accommodate loyal customers in the future.

The environment is good, the room is OK, and it is not far from the airport. There is a big shopping mall opposite, but because there is no crossroad, you need to go a long way to walk there. The price-performance ratio is good. The only drawback is the problem of taking a taxi. On the first day, the commonly used Uber software could not be used, and I did not download the local taxi software. I asked the front desk to call a taxi. A colleague from the front desk and the office called a private car, which cost 2 riyals and 8 riyals for the trip. After the customer helped to take a taxi for the return trip, it was 2 riyals. I asked the front desk to help me take a taxi to the airport, and it was also unpleasant because of this matter.

We had a great stay. Price is reasonable. Only thing is that, we booked a handicapped room, which we didn't know that there's no shower glass partition, and it was a hassle since all the water splashed to the whole toilet floor and it was not highlighted to us by the reception staff during check in. Other than that everything went well and will recommend this hotel to our friends.
