Murphy's Hotel

Cold room, very unfriendly staff,bar closed at 11. No information giving on check in. Toilets were clean n fresh. But breakfast was a letdown.

What a great experience staying in this lovely hotel. The rooms were kept clean and tidy with clean sheets on the bed daily. Supply of shampoo and soap in the toilets. Tea Coffee in the room great supply. When we arrived Manager gave us room keys on bus which made it so much easier. His Staff couldn't do enough for you and always a smile on their face. Hotel on Bus route for Knock. This beautiful Shrine I've always wanted to visit. Thank you one and all for helping me get there

Avoid at all costs. Called in today for lunch and to feed our baby, to be met with possibly the coldest, rudest and unfriendly staff member with the worst customer service. The lady (didn’t get her name but had blonde hair, middle aged and a foreign accent) who came to take our tables order from the get go she was cold, uninterested and quite frankly seemed to hate her job. When she finished our order and left the table, a person from our table went up front to ask where the toilets were and seen/heard the lady mocking our order and talking badly about us (A few people from our table made minor adjustment requests to sandwich orders)to a young brown haired girl who was behind the bar. When the Blonde server saw the person from our table she just walked off into the kitchen/back area. The person from our table asked the brown haired girl if it was our table she was talking about, she didn’t respond and looked very awkward. At that point we as a table decided to cancel our order and leave as we weren’t going to stay somewhere where we were going to be mocked by staff because of having to make minor adjustments to sandwiches.The young brown haired girl came to our table as we were packing up and asked were we sure and apologised for her colleagues attitude but said they were busy (despite only having 3/4 tables filled with at most 2 people per table) and that they had to make the sandwiches themselves . I can’t comment on the hotel itself or any other member of staff. II have never came across worse customer service in my life and would advise the hotel to either provide their staff with additional training in customer service as this behaviour is unacceptable in this line of work.

Best hotel we have stayed in for a long time. This hotel was absolutely lovely in every aspect. The staff were so nice and friendly. They were so warm and welcoming . We loved the shower in the bathroom, really powerful and plenty of space. The room was spotless . I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The bar was great , food was delicious and the breakfast was by far the nicest full Irish we have had in a long long time.

Nice hotel Hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms where lovely. Very clean and tidy. Plenty of room. Staff were all very helpful.
