Cabra Castle Hotel

We attended a family wedding which was unreal and stayed in one of the cottages and our stay was simply lovely. Beautiful clean rooms, beautiful fresh bed linen and the grounds are stunning. We will definitely be back

My husband and I traveled from Philadelphia to Ireland with our closest family and friends for our dream wedding at Cabra Castle! Planning a wedding abroad, we chose this venue virtually-- our search criteria were things like: great virtual tour and excellent communication from the venue staff, beautiful and scenic inside and out, outstanding reviews from others who have hosted large groups there, within an hour of proximity from the Dublin airport (for those guests who couldn't stay very long), and overall energy. We visited the Castle in March and were blown away by how accommodating and warm each and every staff member was, our cozy and sparkling room, the excellent food and for us, most importantly, how lovely the event team was. We loved working with Gemma primarily (she's just that-- a gem!) but found it so helpful to have a whole team of excellent planners to help with the entire process. Fast forward to our October 1st wedding-- our guests are still RAVING about the entire experience. Their stay in general, the people, the incredible food, the stunning castle interior/exterior. I could go on and on! 10/10 recommend visiting Cabra Castle-- we surely can't wait to come back for an anniversary one day!

The Castle, the Accommodation, the Gourmet dining, but above all the Staff...this hotel has it all.. Had a memorable stay in Cabra Castle recently as part of a group of 8 friends. We were blown away by what was on offer at this hotel. I had been in touch with Elaine in reception about a month previously to make the reservation on behalf of the group.In passing, I mentioned to her that we were celebrating our Ruby wedding anniversaries. On arrival to our rooms we were greeted with an Anniversary card and a box of chocolates....a lovely touch. Later when dining in the restaurant, we received a glass of prosecco on the house. Elaine on Reception/ Reservations had obviously taken note that we were celebrating an important milestone and made sure that in all areas of the hotel throughout our stay, we received the royal treatment. Thank you so much Elaine. You made our visit truly memorable. I would also like to compliment all the staff we met throughout the hotel for their professionalism and friendly engagement with us during our stay....from Kelley in the bar to Brenda, Agata, Alanna and others in the dining room ( others whose names I can't remember)......this hotel is so lucky to have staff of this calibre. My friends who travelled from various parts of the country for this celebration were so impressed by Cabra Castle, they have asked me to rebook this hotel for our get together this time next year. We stayed for two nights in Cabra Castle recently and had an absolutely wonderful time. The setting is magical, the accommodation luxurious and we were hugely impressed with how high the standard of service was. I can’t think of anywhere else I’ve stayed where the hotel has been so well-staffed and the team so friendly and accommodating. We ate at the hotel bar both nights and were delighted with the cosy setting and the high standard of the food. Breakfast was also a delight with lots of fresh fruit, a main dish cooked to order and plenty of pastries and other goodies available at the buffet. The veggie cooked breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. Thanks to everyone at Cabra Castle for such a memorable stay.

Was looking forward to my stay here for our anniversary didn't get a room with a four poster bed or a room in the castle put in to a cottage nothing amazing about it beds had marks and we got moved to a four poster bedroom in the courtyard it was great soap scum shower dirty on top off the bed cleaning is very poor breakfast wasn't much better uncooked bacon toast 10 mins before ur eggs
