Property is very run down and neglected. Staff are uninterested look like they don't want to be their including the owner. Some simple maintenance of the lodges and grounds would make a big difference. Pool area is a disgrace. Kitchenette is pointless with just a microwave and fridge. Restaurant 'The Barn' not open everyday for breakfast. Overpriced.

Depends what you expect! Our room was spacious, in lovely bush surroundings. But poor maintenance let this place down. The bush was lovely - but close to a main road. There was an abandoned car and bits of metal left by the side of the property road. Inside our unit, the fridge was too cold and froze everything (not a common complaint, I know!) and one of the the kitchen taps wouldn't turn off. The door frame had been attacked by termites, but at least this had been treated. There was no daily room service as you would expect in a hotel, but maybe that wasn't part of the deal. Other reviews mentioned rats - obviously this had been sorted - there were none in our visit. Adjacent restaurant wasn't open, and we drove to Mudgeeraba for meals. Enough facilities in the room for breakfast - microwave, toaster, jug. This property is also a function centre and I got the impression that was their main business. As accommodation - half hearted.

Loved the convenience of parking in front, great bed, excellent shower water pressure and tea making facility. Plus cabin was in great condition with no floor noise at all and felt safe at all times.
