Hotel Zalewski

We were a family of 4 in the first week of the holidays. Pros: Overall, the hotel is relatively new and not tired. The service at the reception and restaurant was nice. Food - everyone will find something for themselves. Large swimming pool area. Cons: Poorly cleaned rooms. No drinks or coffee during dinner (only water with lemon in jugs available) - quite poor for a 4* hotel that pays a lot for it. Animations for children are a joke. "Ms. Animator" involved parents in working and playing with their children instead of doing it themselves. During the five-day stay, 2 out of 3 slides were open on the first day, and from the second day only one was open until the end of the stay. for a five-day stay, we received 2 vouchers for free entry to the sauna and baths area, and additional entries had to be paid extra. In the sauna area, the swimming pool was filled with stinking jelly instead of water - just looking at it made me feel sick... On the fourth day of my stay, it turned out that a previously registered person on a gluten-free diet who wanted to receive a few slices of gluten-free bread for breakfast had to pay extra, even though we had previously received information that there is no additional fee - a shame. To sum up, the minuses far outweigh the pluses. You can find something nicer with this money.

Great hotel. A great swimming pool complex for both children and adults. Very interesting attractions for children to play in the water. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Location close to the sea. Great service and delicious food. I recommend the club and bowling alleys located in the hotel. You can spend a very nice evening. The rooms and the entire hotel were very clean. I have been to this hotel twice and will definitely come back. I recommend

Catastrophe! In short, we would rather leave immediately because we neither get a holiday feeling here nor feel welcome as German guests. Two days ago we arrived at the Hotel Zalewski full of anticipation because we booked this hotel based on the (real? fake?) reviews. But when we arrived, the first impression was extremely disappointing! The ladies at reception were very unfriendly, spoke almost no English or German, whispered and spoke Polish about us and we had to wait for over two and a half hours to even be allowed to check in. During this time we weren't even allowed to go to the hotel's aqua park because we didn't have a room card! So we had to kill time and the hotel doesn't really have much to offer overall. Even the loveless children's entertainment by two young, chronically bad-tempered ladies who speak neither English nor German is a farce. The rooms are super small for a four-star hotel with little storage and no great comfort. The worst are the beds, which crackle when you sit on them. The atmosphere in the restaurant is like a canteen, simply awful! The noisy construction site in front of the hotel was the last straw for us, even though we were told BEFORE booking that it was not active. After we spoke to our travel agency and complained, the hotel called us and seriously offered us a change to the SAME room, just on a different floor. When we asked if they could waive the expensive parking fees, they seriously said it was not possible for them?!? If that is the hotel's guest policy, they do NOT deserve the 4 stars! We do not feel taken seriously as guests here, let alone wanted, and we can only advise all guests not to spend their vacation here at the Hotel Zawleski!
