We have done a few all-inclusive holidays over the years, but this was by far the best food we have experienced, surpassing even our trips to Mexico and Dom Rep. If anyone states the lack of choice or taste, they are very fussy. Lived the local dishes and great salad options, cous cous was as light as a cloud. Lamb, beef , steak all well cooked and super fresh pizzas. We enjoyed the entertainment in the evenings, and the team are a credit to you. My only flaw was I thought some of the local alcohol was not to a decent standard, and some of the cocktails were disappointing. Mixers were also flat at times as poured from bottles, but as I say, I wouldn't let this put anyone off. Weather was a bonus all week as I went to put my heating on as we got home 🥶😪 I already miss the place.

This is a lovely little resort, and there are many excursions for those who don’t want to stay in all week. There’s a good range of activities while you’re here, the tennis courts are lovely and the pools are very alluring. The food is lovely - lots of choice. During breakfast it’s more or less the same but there is good variety in the afternoon and evenings. It isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I appreciate their attitude to food waste and oftentimes I’ll see that they’ve reprepared something that was made prior - food safety wise I am aware of someone else staying that did get food poisoning but it doesn’t seem to be a mass issue. The tables occasionally didn’t have any cutlery and were only half cleared, leaving us to scout around other tables for cutlery and wander around with full plates for a seat. The hotel room is very comfortable and airy, although after September they do not have air conditioning on which we only found out when we got there, so we slept with the windows open which suited us fine. There was someone else’s bikini in our cupboard when we arrived, which reception tried to say was from it falling off the above balcony. Whilst physics wise it didn’t make sense, I did get the feeling that throughout the stay the housekeeping don’t clean very deeply, but I will say they’re here every day :) The staff are super friendly, especially the sports team. We found ourself a bit confused with the check in process at the start but that’s about as much mental work as we needed to execute. I will mention that one of the main team we noticed all week was making efforts to charm the female guests, and on a couple of occasions we’d see him touching and taking women back to their rooms - I think we felt weird about this primarily because he was still in uniform and morally I was indecisive on how appropriate that was. Overall, we had a good stay! I would say I probably wouldn’t pay prices that weren’t off peak, but that’s just based on my prior experiences with holidays. Although, it was a very pleasant introduction to TUI Blue at a very attractive price and I would consider it good value for what you get :)

We have never stayed at such a welcoming place! Our waiter Ahmed was brilliant, our housekeeper went out of her way everyday to make sure we were comfortable. The crowning jewel here was the entertainment team. We were a family aged 22-45, and they made us feel like we were part of a larger family. They built such great relationships with ourselves and other guests that everyone went home having made new friends! To be able to entertain adults and have this effect stands testament to the devotion they have for their jobs. Goofy, Neno, number 5 and Aqua man thank you for the best holiday we have ever had! The food was lovely, always something nice to eat, the snack bar waiter never let you go thirsty! And as for air con, it was November, about 20 degrees at night, about the same we would have put heating set to at home. If you dont want to be warm, go somewhere else. Couldn't fault this holiday at all.

This is a reasonably good hotel but there are a few things which should be addressed. Firstly, Air Conditioning. It goes off on November the 1st. On the 2nd of November the outside temperature was 29°C so not surprisingly the room temperature was unbearable. It was unbearable the whole week we were there. Complained numerous times at reception and to TUI reps but the answer was always more or less 'tough'. They did offer to send up a fan - still waiting for that one. The Blu message board (PInboard) was going wild. The manager's standard response was 'it is in the T&C' so suck it up - top notch customer service. Somewhere in the hotel or TUI rubric it does mention that the AC cools to 25°C so even it is was working the rooms would never actually be comfortable. The room ventilation was very loud further making it hard to sleep. Reception promised to send someone but despite a couple of reminders no one had arrived after an hour. I do believe the man of reception was trying to get rid of us. The ladies who were on reception during the day however were really nice and very helpful. Generally all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedding was a hoot. We ended up with a twin room which was 2 single beds pushed together. Each had a very thick double duvet folded into a single duvet cover, thus making things even hotter. They ended up in the cupboard! The food was generally good. They try to cater to all tastes, even having Tunisian dishes for all meals which were what we were looking for. There was fish available every night along with some occasional prawns and squid. Lots of salads and fresh fruit at every meal. The dates are terrific. We tried the Culinarium. Food was OK, portions were massive but the room had all the ambience of a motorway service station. The cocktails in the bar were fairly horrible. I tried a couple but could not finish them - far too sweet. They do have a couple of local spirits made from dates and also figs. These were really good. The internet was unusable for the first half of our stay, This meant we could not use the TUI Blu app to book things etc. It picked up after a couple of days. The swimming pools were good; perfect for a pre-breakfast dip. The beach is not great. It is very narrow with a lot of seaweed at the water edge - great piles of the stuff. We did see a chap making a half hearted effort to clean it up a bit. The sea is full of flotsam and jetsam at the shoreline, making swimming a bit unpleasant. Neither of these are the hotel's fault of course. There is not much to do near the hotel. A 10 dinar (or £2.50) taxi ride takes you to town or you can walk it in less than an hour.

This is an excellent place to stay. I do not understand any bad reviewes about the staff and food. I would like to thank everyone for your great hospitality approach. EVERYONE is very helpfull. The food is great and entertainment is very good. I cannot praise everyone as the names on the badges are a bit small. Special thanks to Sabri in the restaurant who is a very professional waiter and someone from the housekeeping responsible for room 416. The person in the bar by the swimming pool is very helpfull and kind. The same is in all other bars. In general, everybody is helping, there are no issues that cannot be resolved. More special thanks to the person who drove the aquarobics. I wish to be back soon. Arnold

Wat een fantastisch hotel. Het ontvangst was zo persoonlijk. De kamer fantastisch en het personeel geweldig. Tunesië is voor ons altijd het meest gastvrije land wat wij kennen, maar dit hotel spant de kroon. Animatie is goed. Overdag waren er spelletjes te doen ( darten, waterpolo, aqua gym, zelfs sjoelen). S avonds veel goede shows gezien. 1 minpuntje voor ons was dat er in het zwembad geen makkelijke trap was. Je moest via een ijzertrappetje. Dat was lastig. Dit hotel is een echte aanrader!! Boeken! Wij komen zeker terug.
