Very nice hotel, staff and food was great, but the booking wasn’t as good as it should be

Will break this down in parts: hotel is stunning, very clean, rooms are lovely and the balconys are a good size, best all inclusive food we have ever had and we are well travelled. The drinks were nice, quite a good choice, no spiced rum but they had amaretto which was fine. The staff are so friendly and cant do enough for you, i have uploaded photos of the best staff members who went above and beyond. Only negative was there were alot of flies but i cant hold that against the hotel as there is nothing they can do about this, i also met people who had been to other hotels and they said they are the same with flies. We celebrated my daughters 18th in this hotel and they decorated the table, her room and even sent a cake up to her room for free, we went beginning of November so the hotel was quiet and the live entertainment only lasted about an hour but we didnt mind. I booked the quads through the tui app and that was an amazing experience, we booked to go on the camels through the excursion men in the hotel who arent linked to the hotel but one called sami was especially rude, abrupt and forceful trying to get us to go on his friends catamaran, he lied and said the pirate boat that we wanted to go one wasnt running but it was when we got to the medina, we booked to ride camels aswell but i wouldnt recommend it, the camels were all tied together and had ties round there legs, not a nice thing to see. There are a couple of supermarkets if you walk outside the hotel and u can change currency in the hotel to pay for the hotel tax when u arrive or just pay on a card. There isnt much outside the hotel so the right excursions are a good idea for you to see the culture and meet local people who are all very nice, it was amazing going on the quads as you get to see where locals go to school and where they live. Tunisia is completely safe dont listen to the news, i travelled with my 18 year old daughter and her boyfriend so spent some time alone and i felt safer than being in Egypt or turkey. This holiday was such good value for money and i was gutted to leave, i miss is so much

Just got back from our two week holiday, very relaxing time was had by my wife and I. The arrival process was well managed and very efficient, our room wasn't ready but that didn't matter as the people were so friendly, anyway we didn't have to wait long for our room. After going to the room, which was very clean and spacious enough for two adults, we went for lunch, which was fantastic. Our cleaner Sonya was great, very efficient and friendly. The room was spotless. All the meals were of a wonderful standard, well cooked and very delicious, with a great deal of variety. Watch out for the curries they are fiery but delicious!! The dining room staff were great Wizem, Iheb and Moussa deserve a mention for their level of serice and smiley personalities. We never had any trouble getting a sunbed in the beach bar area. The beach bar was great with Fraj providing an excellent waiter service. Muhammed provided a service in Thea's Cafe that was second to none, well done you! All staff were great, very friendly and appeared to be happy in their daily tasks. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel, well done the General Manager, your team and all departments we came across were excellent in all respects, and are a credit to the TUI Blue Palm Beach. We can't wait to return next year, already booked!!

What an absolutely wonderful hotel from start to finish. The welcome was wonderful. Instead of being hearded straight to check in we were welcomed from the transfer bus and taken to the coffee shop for a drink and to complete the forms in comfy chairs. The rooms are wonderful, and even though we were initially all assigned a double rather than a twin Maha couldn't do enough to sort it for us and we were soon next door in the right room. The rooms are modern, comfortable and spacious. Ours overlooked the gardens which are beautiful. Keep the doors closed overnight unless youre happy to swap your alarm clock for a chicken wake up call. Never did figure out where they were but they were talkative! It did give me a lovely chance to see the sunrise with a coffee though. The food is without question the best I've had at an Al. Every day is different and the food is fresh and tasty. The chefs on the cooking stations are are fabulous. Theres loads of variety, whether you want to stick to what you know or you want to try local Tunisian dishes. The wine is free-flowing every night which is always a treat. A trip to the culinarium is a must, The food incredible. I had the mozzarella balls, the breaded shrimp with lemon linguine and the chocolate dome and absolutely couldn't move I was so stuffed! Plus we got the best seats in the house for the evening entertainment. A big thank you too to the couple celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary if they read this - the bonus slice of celebration cake was delicious! The days at the pool are as active or lazy as you want. We never struggled for a sunbed. There are so many places to sit depending on the level of peace or people watching. I absolutely loved doing aqua gym and aqua HlIlIT each day. The instructor is fabulous and the funniest person. laughed so much 1 think my cheeks and abs got as much of a workout as my triceps! Absolutely recommend taking some time out and having an iced coffee (or a g&t) on the balcony at Thea's. It's a wonderful, peaceful spot ta to just watch the world from above for half an hour. The evening entertainment was varied and fun. It's a shame that they done make more use of the snack bar area in the evening. The entertainment space is quite small and theatre style so people who want to watch but also chat or sit at a table tend to sit in the snack bar area. If the actual bar was open with a bit of a cocktail bar vibe I'm sure it would be so popular. I'd come back to this hotel in a heartbeat, It's an absolute gem and as close to faultless as I could find. The staff are fabulous, the food is wonderful, the rooms are clean and modern and the hotel is just fantastic. Thank you everyone!
