Hotel Aria

It was great staying here. Except there was no elevator and you could hear voices from next door, it was very pleasant stay there. Loved it!!

The room is passable, but it often smells quite strong.

I have never experienced a worse customer service situation. I was traveling with a friend that has a physical disability. When I tried to check in the front desk lady told me that they had no elevator, no handicapped rooms available, and that we needed to move our car and stay out of the handicapped parking stalls even though we had proper state issued credentials/ ( big blue placard). When I told ******* that this hotel was not suitable they dug in and tried to deny the refund. In the end I told ******* this place should not be on their platform in the first place. In the end ******* helped me move to a Holiday in that was wonderful- had everything we needed and they were extremely friendly. While I really like to support small businesses… this is one to avoid.

I have stayed at many hotels in Mountain View in last 6 months and since last 2 months I have been staying at Hotel Aria because I FEEL safe at this place due to their security system as they have cameras in every corner of the building and parking lot I work for a company and my truck is always loaded with tools the other places where I stayed they did not have cameras in every corner only in few main places in parking lot,so when my truck got robbed all my expensive tools got robbed and I could not get much from insurance as they did not have enough evidence I always make sure when I walk in any hotel I look at the monitor at the front desk to make sure the hotel has cameras everywhere and hotel Aria was best I was impressed with their system and was able to sleep peacefully at night without getting up few times at night to check on my truck but this time I was disappointed twhen I went on Wednesday their system was down and I asked front desk when it would be fixed she had no answer,if your or your vehicle safety is more important then please call the hotel first and find out if the issue has been fixed , lately there are so many incidents that happen in many hotels that are not in news and lot of other things you never know for every hotel security system has to be a top priority for guest safety hope they understand that it not for them but for guest so please call first before you book your stay I use to stay there twice a week but will not anymore they lost my business.

The bathroom of my suite looked clean, but had a rancid smell, a combination of sweat and urine. I arrived late so I didn't want to deal with changing my room. In the morning, I was about 15 minutes late checking out when the hotel manager called me and spoke to me in a very unpleasant manner, saying that I would be charged extra $35 if I stayed 30 minutes past check out time. I explained that my ride was running late and that I needed just 30 minutes extra. She was not accommodating at all. I've stayed at much nicer and fancier hotels and none have been so rude to me as a guest. I will certainly not stay at Hotel Aria again, if the management continues to be so rude and unpleasant.
