Quick overnight stop for the long drive to the city. Spacious, clean room for the whole family. Large bathroom and parking outside the door. Felt safe and secure.

Great location but staff at reception told me restaurant was closed for the nite it was 7.45pm.very disappointed.

Was a great area. Room was perfect for what I needed for my family. A little dust and areas behind cabinets that could have been a little cleaner same with plates cups and cutlery. But over all a great place and will stay again when in mackay ☺️

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy room, all you need for a nice stay. Close to shops and amenities, and a nice park you can walk around.

Great location for us as we're working nearby. Extremely friendly & helpful staff. Clean rooms. Restaurant served great food. Morning coffees a godsend. Definitely be staying again.

We booked multiple rooms for our family to stay in Mackay for a funeral. We had booked the wake for the funeral in the events centre at Windmill and Cloe the events manager was amazing and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. As we had families with young children, the family rooms were really great. Highly recommend both the Events centre and the motel

Recently Stayed at windmill for a wedding. it was a great motel. staff were friendly and we had plenty of laughs with the manager and staff during our stay. the function was well done and the bar service etc was great. rooms are clean and tidy. overall a great stay

Nice and quiant. Hidden away very quiet. Do need some fans in room as air con is tucked in corner doesnt cool whole room. Needs a small sofa to watch tv instead of sitting at dinnin table or beds that are faraway.
