This was our first stay here and we were pleasantly surprised. We only needed a room for one night but would have happily stayed several nights. It’s a beautiful, historic building with full amenities and warm, eager to please staff. The grounds are beautifully kept and worth a little explore. we had dinner on site which was lovely, no complaints whatsoever! We would happily return.

The room condition was very old and musty. The windows overlooked the putting green with a decent view of the golf course. Unfortuntely, the window frames and blinds were both broken and in need of replacement. The kind-sized bed comprised of 2 single beds put together with the carpet badly stained with a bad odour. The walls were old and needed a new coat of paint and the bathroom was damp with the toilet bowl, sink and shower area very badly maintained and in need of a renovation.
The floor boards in both our room and in the room above us were creaking throughout the night when anyone was walking. Unfortunatley, this will be the last time we will stay here and opted to check out first thing in the morning.

After getting caught on the freeway for many hours, I diverted to Moss Vale instead of my original destination. The Dormie House at the Moss Vale Golf Course was a very pleasant and welcome surprise. An old world guest house of a very high standard, original architecture with modern twist. The restaurant served delicious food. The staff went out of their way to help me recover from the very stressful events of the day. The only negative I will add is that the room did not have any windows that opened. Except for one in the bathroom. I had to prop it open and leave the bathroom door open to get some fresh air . I appreciate air conditioning for cooling or heating, but much prefer fresh air at night.

Room very small.
Heating control confusing and staff wasn't sure how it worked either. Room was too cold, had to get fan heater.
Dining room was warm the first morning but no heat on the Sunday morning.
Stairs hard for my wife to manage.
Suggest putting a lift in the storage room.
The venue was quiet, and the bed was comfortable.

My room looked out onto carpark and I felt very exposed so kept blinds down and had no view. It was a budget room so maybe this is the price I had to pay. Lounge and dining areas were lovely.

Renovated room and other renovations in progress. Great staff! Good dining and bar facilities on site. Standard room is small, but well renovated, warm and great bed. Overall a very pleasant and affordable stay
