"Absolutely not recommended. While the scenery is indeed beautiful, the stay was extremely disappointing and not worth the price at all. The room was small with a limited view; the two single beds pushed together kept shifting, making for an unsettling night's sleep. The soundproofing was terrible; you could clearly hear conversations from next door. The room was dusty and the cleanliness was very poor. All disposable toiletries were provided, but the floor felt incredibly dirty to walk on barefoot. The most unpleasant aspect was the attitude towards communication and problem-solving. After encountering unforeseen transportation issues, negotiation was extremely difficult. The room type and conditions offered after the rescheduling were significantly different from the original booking, yet the room quality was much worse, and the hotel acted as if the guests had gotten a great deal. Avoid this hotel altogether."

"Booked this last minute, felt like a lucky find, though at over 1700 [currency unit] it wasn't exactly cheap. The room is quite small, like an apartment, with self-catering facilities. It has a kettle, coffee machine, and all the necessary kitchenware. There's a small table right next to the bed. The bathroom is also tiny; the sink is really only big enough for washing hands. Its main selling point is the location. You can take the bus from Moskenes ferry terminal to Hamnoy and it's just a short walk from there. However, to get back to Moskenes terminal, you have to walk about 400 meters further to catch the bus, which was quite a struggle dragging luggage in the pouring rain. That famous little red house from the Lonely Planet guide? That's our hotel."
