Both ice machines were broken. Room was outdated. Beds were extremely hard.

Walking in the lobby, the chair covers looked like they needed a good scrubbing. The furniture itself all looked second hand. Walking down the hallway to the room, there was drywall dust piled up on both sides. A few doors were open and all you could see was laundry and it looked as though it was just thrown in the room. It was everywhere. Then we get to the room and it smelled so bad of wet mildew. The chair in the room was 10 times worse than in the lobby. I don’t even think the cushion matched the chair. Apparently there were no refunds or I definitely would have left

Comfortable place to relax in between events
They were short staffed but still seemed to be right on top of their game. This was a very comfortable stay, it has everything we needed for a successful visit, would stay again if we ever need to go back to morgontown

I dislike seeing bad reviews that knit pick everything. This is an older hotel that could use an update; however, for the price we paid I didn’t expect the Ritz or the Four Seasons, which is what negative reviewers always seem to want.
The gentleman who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was nice with crisp, clean sheets, a comfortable mattress and nice bedding. We spent two nights here and had no issues. The breakfast was good with a friendly attendant. The workout room was adequate.
This hotel is in a convenient and safe area close to
I-79, shopping, restaurants and the university. We will stay here again when we visit.

Did not like location , front entry and parking congested , walking area to lobby was in poor condition.. steps affected those in a wheelchair to main lobby . No ramp .
Wheel chair access to lobby from the floors was unacceptable. The disabled person had to go out the side door and pushed around the hotel to the front lobby entrance. Unacceptable! I feel very upset and would never choose this hotel again . This was not listed on their site . Please consider refunding for the room with double beds .

The room was clean; the bed was comfortable. I had issues to connect to the internet, but it was resolved. The bathroom was a handicapped bathroom but was clean and hot water was no issue. The breakfast area was great! The attendant wasted no time wiping off tables after guests were finished. The options were many and fresh. The Front Desk staff was friendly and efficient.
I would stay there again.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. After making a late night reservation due to a medical emergency a young mother and child was sent to an unclean room. After asking for a different room the were given a key and upon entering the room it was occupied and people were in bed asleep. The late night hotel clerk on 7/18/2025 was uncaring and showed no empathy and offered no further solutions. A total nightmare and the young mother and child had to drive three hours to get home at 4:00 AM.
