Both ice machines were broken. Room was outdated. Beds were extremely hard.

SCAM!!! PRICE GOUGING!! The lady At the front desk Will take your card and charge you whatever she feels like even though the app says 77$ dollars she still without my authorization tried to charge my card 143$ I am traveling and thankfully it didn't go through. I then confronted the same person at the front desk showed them the price on the choice app which she lied saying I can't use my app and gave me no reason as to why. Finally after saying I can't afford you're outrageous price especially since the app has the room for 70 dollars cheaper. She gave me the (low low) price of 109$ which is still a rip off over payment of over 40$. Just totally unprofessional. Oh wait there is more... After bartering down to a price that still too much. These people decided they were gonna go into my account and try and take more money without my authorization. They tried to charge after I booked out of the hotel 50 more dollars. Please do yourself a favor never give this woman at the front desk you're card they will over charge you for the room and after you check out will try to take more money! What a joke. Thankfully, I put a lock on my card. I had to put I had to put A lock on my card and frankly going to contact my bank and dispute this charge since they decided to try to scam more money off me after I was checked out.

This is by far one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed at, I saw a roach crawling down the wall and I spoke to the lady named Carrie who was very rude and nasty and insisted that I didn’t see it. This is like the ********* of hotels, it smells like an old run down bar with mildew, carpet wasn’t vaccumed, the walls were filthy, I felt like I need a tetanus shot after staying here. We booked for a week but we left early due to the smells and pure disgustingness of the place that carpet hasn’t been clean since it was installed so it made me wonder if they had changed the bedding, this place gets a big 0 in my book, whoever the Manager is needs to go because obviously they aren’t doing anything to that property, I only seen 1 housekeeper and he couldn’t speak English. Do better Best Western cause this place shouldn’t have the name best Western this is a crack house

We were very disappointed in our arrival at the hotel on Oct. 27, 2022. We were told from front desk that some rooms had not been cleaned yet (this was around 6pm or so), and got a very eye-opening account of the management & the head of staff. It was relayed to us that the hotel was down to 1 working washer, and the head of staff refused to take laundry to a laundromat for washing. Apparently the dryers all worked. There was a sign on the front lobby door saying “if no one at front desk, they are doing laundry and will be back momentarily”. We were told at the desk that management knew about the washers for several days and had not as yet gotten a repair man. We were also told that some rooms were missing shower curtains. So we were given our key, went to our room, and saw that it was indeed not cleaned at all. We carried our stuff back down & my husband went to the desk to let them know. So we were given another room, and upon trying to open the door, the keys would not work. So hubby went back down to the desk, and the keys were re-programmed. Finally, into our room & it was clean & every amenity was accounted for. This was a long, drawn out registration into the hotel that could have been averted if management had taken the initiative, thought of their guests, and had the equipment in working order. AND if head of staff would have gotten her head out of her butt & thought of people checking in & helped out! We have been to this hotel twice before & everything has been great. But after this time we are seriously considering never going back. We understood that there were homecoming games the next night (we only stayed 1 night), and were told the hotel would be charging close to $300 for a room! I guess, let the buyer beware, is all I can hope for those poor guests.

Mountaineer Inn was a quick stopover on our way home from South Carolina. The hotel hallway had a funny smell so I was expecting the worst with the room but was pleasantly surprised that our room was fantastic - no smell in the room, very clean and no signs of significant depreciation. Beds were comfortable, room had been updated. Staff was friendly and breakfast had a lot of options - waffles, eggs, omelettes, sausages, bread/toast, cold cereal. Hotel was close to the interstate but also a quick drive downtown or to the university area. Would definitely recommend.

friendly staff, good service, good hot breakfast, clean rooms, pet friendly, has a great gym and heated pool. Love this place I stay here everytime I go to Morgantown. Close to hospital and restaurants.

Overall it was an okay stay but not really what I’d expect from best western or for the price. The bed was uncomfortable and the breakfast wasn’t warm , water pressure wasn’t great either. I was alittle disappointed

The hotel was easy to find and had ample parking. Check in was simple and straightforward. Some of the communal areas looked rather tired, but my room was clean modern with good AC. The price was very good for this sort of hotel, so no complaints. Yes I would stay there again.

We were on a trip/vacation and this was one of the nicest motels we stayed in with regards to being clean, well maintained, up-to-date, thorough amenities offerings and general comfort/spaciousness of the room. The check-in process was easy and the staff was great. Note...lobby gives the feel of a 3-4 star facility The WiFi signal was strong-fast The bed was very comfortable The TV size was large and the channel selection was complete The bathroom was very clean and well maintained Breakfast - very good and complete offering of hot/cold food items. I would definitely try to stay here in the future and would recommend it to friends and relatives. I.e. it's worth a short (out-of-the-way detour) to stay at if your in that area and need a nice place to stay at a fair price.
