Fire Service College

Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. It’s a military like facility in the middle of nowhere with no customer service after 6pm. The heating wasn’t working on the entire building. We asked security to turn it on or provide another room (in another building?) and they weren’t helpful and were deceitful. We slept in a freezing cold room. We sent a complaint and never received a reply.

Ok, it's a residential college, not a hotel, so of course that's a key difference. It's a bit site. Reception is easy to find once you've passed security. Very efficient check in. The room we had was reasonable enough. I made sure I'd brought a travel hairdryer. Room booked for two but only one set of towels, so I had to return to reception for a second set. It's 1.4miles from Moreton-in-Marsh. Walkable if you can walk that distance but one of us can't, so we looked at the bus option. Staff seemed vague about the nearest stop and the reliability of service. So we tried all of the taxi numbers at reception....failed. So be prepared to drive in if nec. Room okay for a stopover.

Perfectly adequate The facilities were adequate for our stay. We were a group of cyclists , and just needed somewhere relatively cheap in the Moreton area. The rooms were clean and well furnished, and very quiet at night.

Great stay Great value for money, clean and comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to use again and I've recommended already!

Weekend stay Ok. Basic but clean. I wasn’t aware it was actually on a college campus! Nothing really near so need to drive or taxi

Basic but OK. Unhappy that the advertised pool was not open so feel cheated. Main reason for stay over other hotels so part of cost should be refunded.
