Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Corfu

Amazing hotel, both the beach side wing and the panorama wing. Spectacular lobby and very comfortable rooms. Anastasia, working at the Panorama Pool Bar, is lovely! I would not hesitate to stay here again if back in Corfu!

It's a beautiful hotel we had a pool view room on the ground floor. The staff are polite and attentive. Eve in the Blue Bar especially helpful and a lovely genuine person. The pool and beachfront are beautiful, the bar and entertainment was wonderful DO NOT MISS THE BLUEBIRD TRIO. The 1962 restaurant is lovely for breakfast but in the evening the food is not great and the service disjointed, if you ask any question the staff go off to find out the answer they don't seem to know the very basics of the menu or wine list. Overall a lovely stay. Hope this part helps, in August there are a lot of wasps, the Greek wasp is not as aggressive as the wonderful ones we have in more Northern Europe but if you are used to those wasps it's in your head and you'll find them difficult to deal with. The burning coffee grounds do nothing I've seen many wasps flying around in the smoke citronella the same. By the pool you can manage them as it's just one or two now and then but if you're a person who's nervous about wasps DO NOT EAT OUTSIDE I witnessed many people with 5-6 wasps in and on their food while eating. The staff are helpful and you can take pool bar food into the restaurant or use the room service, breakfast has an inside area. In the evenings just eat a little later, after 8pm and they are all gone.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful week in Corfu and couldn’t be happier with our stay at this fantastic resort. As a couple looking for relaxation, great service, and beautiful surroundings, this place ticked every box and more. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly efficient. Every interaction we had – whether at reception, the restaurants, or around the resort – was met with friendly smiles and professional service. It’s clear the team here takes pride in ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The beach area was an absolute highlight – beautifully maintained with clean shingle beach which turns into soft sand once in the crystal-clear water. Swimming in the sea felt incredibly safe, and we spent hours enjoying the calm waves. Just steps away from the beach is a lovely pool area – perfect for lounging when we wanted a change of scene but still be close to the sea breeze. We especially want to give a huge thank you to the beach bar team, who truly made our stay special. In particular, Angel stood out with his genuine friendliness, upbeat energy, and attentive service. Nothing was too much trouble for him – whether it was remembering our favourite drinks, checking in to make sure we were comfortable, or simply greeting us with a warm smile every day. He went above and beyond and really made us feel at home. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. Highly recommended for couples looking for a relaxing, high-quality beach getaway with outstanding service!

Domes Miramare Corfu is a fantastic hotel with exceptional staff and location. The food is outstanding, whether dining in the 1962 by the sea restaurant, Makris fine dining, Antonino’s or the Raw bar. The presentation and theatre of the meal in Makris was excellent and food exquisite. The Haute lounge is very welcoming for snacks and drinks. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The beach is stoney but becomes sand very quickly. The sea is very shallow, so wonderfully warm in June and perfect for swimming. The staff are a real asset to the hotel and make you feel special every day. This was our second visit, and we will return.

We have previously stayed at Domes Noruz Chania and Domes Of Elounda on Crete and both were excellent holidays. We booked Domes Miramare having enjoyed those hotels so much. This was our first trip to Corfu. 1 week before our holiday, I read one or two negative reviews on Tripadvisor and was a little worried that this trip wouldn’t live up to the other two. Thankfully our week at Domes Miramare was fantastic. From the moment we walked through the double doors into the stunning reception and bar area with ancient olive tree and amazing view out to sea we felt like we’d booked somewhere special. We stayed in a beachfront retreat room (635). These rooms are on the beach side of the road and are arranged around the edge of two large green squares of grass containing large old olive trees and a nice view of the beach and the sea. Our room was on the upper floor on the furthest row away from the pool/restaurant/reception. We liked it because our terrace had the sun from sunrise to late evening when it disappears behind the hill on which the other half of the hotel sits on. The room was spacious, very nicely decorated, lots of drawer and cupboard space, many things you may need like hairdryer, iron and board, umbrella (thankfully didn’t need that!), also a useful retractable washing line on the balcony for drying swim shorts & bikinis every day! We found every member of hotel staff to be very pleasant. They always greeted us with a smile and a kalimera/kalispera. Service was always quick especially when ordering from our sun loungers on the beach using the QR code on our phones. We utilised the concierge a couple of times to make some bookings at local tavernas and to arrange taxis and they were happy to do everything we needed. The main bar mixologist made us some excellent cocktails in the evening and each night there was a different type of musical act playing in the main bar ranging from a string trio on our first night, a pianist on the grand piano one afternoon to one of Corfu’s brass bands playing outside on our last day. Breakfast at Domes has now become one of our favourite aspects of staying at these hotels and we’ve found it to be consistently excellent at each. It takes buffet form and offers anything you could possibly want from cooked items like bacon and sausages, all types of eggs (poached were always excellent), cold meats and cheeses, many types of juice, fizz if you fancy treating yourself (which we did on our first morning), smoothies, a huge fruit and granola section. Domes Miramare serve it in the 1962 restaurant next to the sea. We got up to have breakfast at 7 every day as the sun rising over the sea at that time is beautiful and the restaurant is much quieter at that time. You have your choice of the whole place to sit. We stayed bed and breakfast so only had 2 evening meals in the hotel at 1962 Restaurant and the Italian Antoninos. Service and food was excellent in both although we did find the prices in the restaurants
