This is a beautifully designed hotel in a historic building. The room (suite) was spacious, lovingly decorated with beautiful furniture. The bedding was extremely comfortable, the linen crisp, the bathroom spacious. I loved my stay in this hotel and wish I had booked for more nights.

There is a construction going on one of the streets and a lot of cars and motorcycles pass by the hotel. I couldn't sleep nor rest. Staff is very nice and helpfull. There are some restaurants around. Not the best view, you could see the ocean through the buildings.

Muy linda la habitación, la vista al mar en la que nos tocó no era tal pero lo demás todo muy bien Muy linda y limpia la habitación, para descansar la cama super cómoda, al igual que las almohadas. El baño amplio, muy limpio y moderno. Recomiendo el punto muy cerca del Centro de Montevideo

Every aspect of the place exceeded my expectations. Excellent value for the price. The host was also fantastic. Nothing negative I can think of at all. The pictures speak for themselves regarding the excellent room I stayed in. :)

We were shocked when we first arrived at the hotel. The hotel is small but centrally located. However, our trip was ruined when the woman at reception/check-in did not speak ANY English at all. We just kinda guessed everything. Asked about breakfast, no response, asked about Taxi, no response, asked about food recommendations, no response... In the evening, there was guest arguing with the evening individual who worked reception and I could not squeeze in a chance to get ay questions in. Lastly, the front desk is only for limited hours, so if you stay out past that time, you would need to input the code into the keypad, which did not work everytime. Room was large and decent. Elevator was small and I would not stay there again.

Wir sind bereits mehrfach vor der Corona Pandemie in diesem Hotel gewesen. Das letzte Mal 2020. Seitdem hat sich viel verändert. Zum schlechten: Zimmerservice nur alle 2 Tage. Bei uns wurde der Service sogar einmal komplett vergessen und erst nach Beschwerde wurde gereinigt. Dann aber sehr gut. Die Rezeption ist nicht durchgängig besetzt. Das Service Personal ist aus unserer Sicht nicht qualifiziert, unprofessionell und unaufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist im Vergleich zu früher sehr schlecht und auch nicht schön angerichtet. Mit Folie überdeckter portionierter Wurst- und Käseteller. Keine warme Küche, also auch keine Eier. Ansonsten schöne Zimmer mit Blick auf den Rio. Das ist alles okay.
