We just got back from half moon with our family of 4 ( 10 and 11 year old kids) and had a magical time. We vacation in the Caribbean each year, and we all agree we can’t wait to come back to half moon! We had a beach front cottage on the founders cove side and it was perfect for us. We ate on property the entire time and the food was excellent. Is it expensive…. yes, but so very worth it. It will be hard to ever get the service we encountered at half moon. From the beaches, housekeeping, coconuts by the pool, everyone is SO friendly and exemplifies the true meaning of 5 star service! If you want to relax and getaway from the rowdy all inclusive resorts this is perfect for you. The convenience is amazing. We were able to schedule and embark on a banana boat ride ( kids) and family snorkel trip by literally walking steps from our cottage to the water sports area. Don’t miss out on the beach bbq on Friday either! An unforgettable week for sure!

The lavender scented pillows, the fluffy pillows, the comfy king size poster bed and the sounds of crashing waves! What more could I ask for? A little piece of heaven. Thank you Half Moon!

Having stayed at Half Moon over the decades, I’d say the eclipse section is the most impressive stay offered. The personalisation, the care of the butlers really make it transcendent. The overall design and flow of the room, including the bathroom was well thought out and highly appreciated. Simple things such as the lights turning on upon opening doors etc really made it all the better. I would recommend that the TVs include the applications such as Netflix, Max, Disney+, and Prime for easy viewing but other than that, no notes. The beach is less than ideal as well but the overall experience on the beach itself is still fantastic!

We stayed at one of the new villas at Half Moon and it was truly one of the greatest experiences we have had. It was extraordinary experience and service. Beanette, our housekeeper ensured we needed for nothing, and made our stay extremely pleasant. Noel, Ferdinand, and Dawn were also apart of the incredible team that accommodated us and made this stay feel unforgettable. I recommend villa 54, and if you stay here, ask for them.

If you’re looking for a resort to go with your kids, Half Moon offers an amazing kids club with First Class counselors (Terese, Monika, Yara, Novetha and Tashae) and tons of activities for an amazing experience for your little ones (ages 3-8). We also enjoyed personal training with Andrew. He is an all World trainer. Food and drinks are quality and the beaches are beautiful. Overall friendly and helpful staff that makes you feel right at home. Favorite place in Jamaica. High recommendation.

Beautiful, Peaceful, Relaxing. Everything about Half Moon was perfect: spacious room, uncrowded pools, pristine beach, grab n' go bikes, great gym staff, amazing yoga class over the ocean, good restaurants, and the best hotel staff of any hotel we've stayed. Kerone created the best smoothies with local ingredients. Nyola gave us a personal tour of the property and was so knowledgeable about all the island's flora and fauna, Fitzgerald surprised us at dinner with a special dessert, Winston grilled great burgers on the beach. Appreciated the golf tips from Joan. Nadia, in guest services, was always available to help with anything. One of our best vacations ever!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Half Moon. We booked this trip somewhat last minute and we are so happy we did. Everything was wonderful. We stayed in the ocean view eclipse room, which we liked a lot. I'm glad we chose this room vs. staying in the main guest house which means you would be above the bar/lounge areas. The staff is what makes this place great, easy to understand and personable. We have traveled to many places and would put half moon along the same level as a four seasons. It was a bit warm in July but there was enough of a breeze and the room's AC worked great. On our honeymoon we stayed at the sandels in Montego Bay and 25 years later we are so glad we were able to afford a nicer resort. We are planning on return with our children (high school and college age) in a couple years.
