Sandals Montego Bay All Inclusive - Couples Only

That was one of the best meals I ever had. The service was absolutely incredible from Michandia. She truly made the meal even all the more special for my wife and I on her honeymoon. She deserves a raise and she is the best!!!

We had the best time at Sandals in Montego Bay. This was our 8th Sandals and while they all are different, we've enjoyed them all. Montego Bay really exceeded our expectations. The grounds, rooms, restaurants, entertainment and staff were all excellent. The beach was very clean and maintained and the water as clear as pool water. The employees were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Shania, Lady J and Davia in entertainment were amazing! Christopher in the service department greeted us each morning at breakfast and couldn't have been more friendly. Renauldo at Butches, Anthony and Jermaine at Cucina Romana and all the other servers were wonderful. The resort is very close to the airport so you do hear and see the planes but that did not bother us at all. Being so close also makes the transport to and from the airport very short, which is nice. We want to make it to all of the different Sandals resorts but I definitely want to return to this one!

My husband and I just returned from our first stay at Sandals Montego Bay. We had such high hopes for this trip, as I’ve always heard Sandals resorts were incredible. Unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience. We had originally booked Sandals Royal Bahamian but had to switch to Montego Bay last minute due to Hurricane Erin. We booked a club-level room for the extra amenities and service that the Club Lounge is supposed to provide. Upon arrival, we tried to book a reservation at Butch’s. The staff wrote down our names and said they’d get back to us—but we never heard anything. My husband followed up twice the next day; they wrote our names down again, but we still never heard back. We also attempted to book an excursion through the Club Lounge, but we were directed to the main desk in the lobby instead. At check-in, we were given documents stating that the Club Concierge would assist us with these types of requests, yet they were absolutely no help at all. The staff in the lounge were not welcoming—in fact, they seemed inconvenienced whenever we approached them. We eventually received help from a manager, Kelsey, who was able to secure us a reservation at Butch’s. She mentioned that the Club Manager would come speak with us about our experience. This should have been easy, considering we had paid extra to rent a cabana and spent the entire day there. However, no manager ever came to see us. What stood out most was how unhappy many of the staff seemed (with the exception of the butlers). They were unfriendly and unhelpful. This was disappointing because on our previous trip to Jamaica—at a different resort—the staff were warm, friendly, and made our stay truly special. It felt like the staff at Sandals Montego Bay were unmotivated, perhaps because they knew they wouldn’t be tipped. As for the resort itself, it was just okay. The buffet was subpar, though some restaurants were decent—Soy was excellent. The constant airplane noise was also irritating. It only lasted a few seconds at a time, but it was loud enough that we’d have to pause conversations because we couldn’t hear each other speak. In conclusion, unless you’re willing to pay for a butler-level room, I’d recommend skipping Sandals. The service is simply not worth the cost. I’ve been to much more affordable all-inclusive resorts and received far better service. To top it all off, someone even charged something to our room during our stay!

First Impressions The resort had a welcoming vibe from the start, and everything felt well-organized and relaxed. The Room & Facilities The facilities were excellent — clean, well-maintained, and perfectly set up for both relaxation and fun. The beach was absolutely lovely, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the views. Entertainment & Activities The entertainment department really stood out. They were incredibly friendly and made every activity enjoyable. I especially had a lot of fun joining in on volleyball games during the day. The nighttime entertainment was also very impressive — talented performers and a great atmosphere each evening. Food & Dining There were plenty of food options available, offering good variety and something for everyone, which made meals another highlight of the stay. Staff & Service A special thanks goes to Akeem from entertainment, who was especially friendly and went out of his way to make the trip even better. Staff like him truly make the experience memorable and without the entertainment team the trip wouldn’t be the same. The entertainment manager Yahshawn was absolutely incredible as well at his job and with his team. Shout out to them Overall Between the beach, food, activities, and entertainment, I had a fantastic stay and would happily return. This resort is perfect for anyone looking for great facilities, plenty of fun, and genuinely warm service.

Came to vacation with the family and didn’t know what to expect. First time I’ve ever been to an all inclusive resort and with Akeem, Super Mario & Yahshawn in the entertainment area made it feel like we were at home. Already planning my next trip back specifically to see these three in March. All high energy and nothing but love from all 3 of them and any employee at this resort. It’s gonna be hard leaving my new found brothers behind.

Absolutely loved our experience here. Super Mario made the stay even better! Always checking with us and giving us great entertainment. He’s like family to us now. We will come back to see him! 100% recommend a stay here.
