My experience at this hotel was excellent. I am a native of Montclair so I remember when this hotel was built. I also travel very often for work & have stayed at a number of Autograph hotels. The quality if the service from the front desk, valet, & housekeeping was excellent. It’s also in an incredibly convenient location and there are two restaurants within the hotel (1 in the lobby & 1 on the rooftop). I would say this was a top 3 Autograph Hotel that I’ve stayed in. The only improvement I would make is to include a pool and add a microwave in the actual rooms. Having to come to the lobby to heat up food I bought at their restaurant is incredibly inconvenient. They also did not have any mouthwash available, so I had to walk up the street to whole foods. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. It’s probably my favorite hotel in all of NJ.
