The best wine bar in the universe. Wonderfully friendly owner and staff in impressively beautiful premises in the old town of Monforte d'Alba. A tour of the wine cellar and the James Bond Cave is a must. Very good wine selection and good food.

This place you must experience. Giulio, the owner have made and building from the around year 1200 into his own special place. 6 uniqe rooms and and awesome restaurant. Giulio is the one that made our stay so special, he sat with us, talked about the place and mede us taste different wines and foods. For us this was the most special hotel/ home we have ever been in. Posto molto bello e caratteristico, ottimo cibo e servizio gentilissimo e cortese. Siamo stati molto bene per cenare posizionati all 'ultimo piano vicino ad una finestra dove entrava una brezza veramente piacevole.

Court séjour au sein de cet établissement et franchement pas déçus! C'est unique et c'est à faire. Dans les hauteur de Montforte d'Alba, se trouve cet hôtel très atypique avec son ancienne bâtisse. On a l'impression de rentrer chez quelqu'un. Les chambres sont d'époques avec tour ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. C'est plutôt surprenant de dormir dans un lieu comme celui-ci. L'accueil est très bon, par le patron en personne. Avec en bonus, une visite du bâtiment. Très joli.

❌ Dalla cortesia alla maleducazione: esperienza da dimenticare! Conoscevo bene questo posto, ci ero già stata quando era gestito direttamente dal proprietario: era accogliente, curato e ben organizzato. Oggi, purtroppo, è tutto cambiato. La gestione è affidata a dipendenti scortesi, arroganti e per nulla disponibili. ⚠️ Ogni richiesta riceveva la stessa risposta: “Chiami il proprietario”. 🛑 Telecomando dell’aria condizionata senza pile – risposta: “non ne abbiamo”. 💧 Aria condizionata scollegata, rumorosa, e perdeva acqua. ⚡ Filo della lampada immerso nell’acqua – pericolo di scossa elettrica. 🛏️ Cuscini scomodissimi. Alla richiesta di un aiuto per il caldo ci portano… altri cuscini (!). 🚪 Porta in vetro chiusa a chiave. 📵 Cellulare senza segnale. 🔥 In caso di emergenza? Nessuna via di fuga. Nessuna sicurezza. 😡 E per concludere, al momento della partenza, la “signorina bionda” alla reception ci ha salutati con ironia: “Auguri a trovare da dormire, ah ah!” Un tempo questo posto era un piccolo gioiello. Ora è diventato insicuro, trascurato e gestito con arroganza. 🚫 Sconsiglio vivamente. Non è un ambiente sicuro, né ospitale. 👶 Evitate soprattutto se viaggiate con bambini. #recensione #hotel #esperienzadeludente #sconsigliato
