"Absolutely fabulous hotel, so Italy. We came for two nights and wished we'd stayed for 5. The hotel is so quaint, with lovely decor throughout the reception, bar and restaurant. The service is exceptional and a special mention to our host Andrea who organised to pick us up from the train station, but his attentiveness and service was superb. Our room was big enough with a decent ensuite and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was included and it was marvelous. . The restaurant offers lunch and dinner also and the food is absolutely superb, best pasta I have ever eaten Drinks were also very reasonable. This hotel is an absolute hidden gem. We absolutely loved it and so wished we'd stayed longer and given the chance would absolutely stay again."

"The location of the hotel is really nice. It is situated quietly in the mountains with a few minute walk down to the town of Moneglia. Moneglia itself is not that touristy and a good size for your basic needs. The passing train is quite noisy though the hotel otherwise is quiet. The outsides of the hotel is lovely with a vast garden and good pool-area and it was cozy that their dog and cats wandered the hotel. Our room had a nice interior with a large smart-tv and fridge and a good aircondition and a large bathroom with a good shower. We also had a very large balcony that we could enjoy, even though it was next to one of the many walking paths that surrounded the hotel. The cleaning of the room was excellent and the staff was helpful and accommodating and we especially enjoyed Francesco's mystery-box cocktails. Breakfast was delicious but the staff was not always good at remembering our orders in which items were forgotten 3-4 times and mixed up once. The hotel offers several experiences of which we tried pasta making, pesto making and wine tasting. In each of these, the owner Orietta showed us the Ligurian way of making food though we could have used a bit more hands-on approach. She was a story-telling host who gave us a deep insight into the history of the area and the hotel, and was good at explaining the reasons behind the traditional food making."
