We recently stayed here and were very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They went out of their way to take care of us and our children, who were treated to ice cream, soft drinks, and small surprises as compensation for the issues we experienced. Unfortunately, the comfort level in the room was far below expectations. The air conditioning didn’t work, and temperatures stayed above 25-27°C (80°F) during the night, making it almost impossible to sleep. The bunk beds were so hard it felt like sleeping directly on the floor. We were given fans, but they were so noisy it was like having airplanes running in the room, which didn’t exactly help us get any rest. As a result, I ended up with a headache and exhaustion, which completely ruined the city vacation we had planned. The 9 hour drive back to Stavanger became very challenging due to the lack of sleep. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special just the basics, with no standout flavors or memorable experiences. All in all, the hotel has great staff and potential, but when you can’t sleep, it overshadows everything else. Sadly, this stay left us more tired than when we arrived. Rating: 2 out of 5

A holliday trip with my disabled daughter. Asked both at booking and when checkin to get a room that was as quiet as possible, as my daughter has problems with loud sounds. We were put in a room with alarms, but not informed about it or how to shut it off. My daughter tried to close the bed light at bedtime (red button next to the lamp). That was the alarm button. VERY load alarm, could not be shut off from the same place. My daughter had panic at this time. Had to get her dressed and run down to the lobby - alarm on the whole way to the elevator. We finally got the alarm shut off, but my daughter got very scared and did not dare to sleep in the hotel. The planned trip to liseberg next day was a failiure and the visit to my parents the day after that had to be canselled, we drove home early day 3 instead. My worst hotel experience ever.

The temperature in room was very warm despite turning down the thermostat and had to use a table fan
