Having moved away from Ulladulla I needed to do a few things to the house, and needed somewhere close by, so the closest motel was what I needed. The first night I was tired and grumpy, so a few insects and noisy air conditioner annoyed me no end. But staying the 2nd night, I was more relaxed. Hardly heard any traffic, even though right in the highway and no insects and the AC was fine. The room was comfortable and the view was amazing. Bed was comfy and the bathroom dated but adequate. Hopefully they will slowly upgrade them. However for a night here and there, and in summer the pool, it is perfect. I was surprised that it wasn't noisier due to the highway right outside. I recommend the motel for one night passer throughs, or if you're staying and exploring the area for a few days. Thanks for a great stay, I will definitely be back.

The location is very easy to find. This is the very first motel as you enter town from north (driving south bound). The buildings are very old. Light switches from 20+ years ago. Ceiling fan. Radiation heater on wall. There is no air conditioning, so I do not know what would guests do in long hot summer. No exhaust fan in bathroom, but a big window high on wall. TV is analogue. No digital TV, no Austar (satellite TV for rural Australia). Bathroom is on highway side of room, and sleeping is on the other direction. Rooms are quite close to highway, so you will hear semi trailers doing overnight trips, althouugh the gap of having a bathroom between highway & sleeping side of the room may help a little. Some people may not notice the noise, but some will. Cleaning was OK, although there was dust / dirt on the floor between bed & wall / furniture. Bed is clean, comfortable. Size of room is comparable to other motels in country Australia. Owner was helpful. I did not specify bed configuration when booking, and owner was happy to provide different room with different bed configuration upon arrival. Comparing against all motels I have stayed in country towns in Australia, I would be happy to sleep here for under $120, but that would be the max, unless I have no other choices.

Nice place to stay. Staff are friendly and accommodating, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Its nice to find a place that has simple rules about excessive noise in the early mornings and late at night, this means those of us who would like a sleep in can do so. Its also nice to stay at a place that isn’t too rowdy at night so you can enjoy a quiet night on the balcony. It is on the Princes Highway so there is a little traffic noise but with windows and doors closed this is nothing to worry about. The rooms have ceiling fans and air con so rooms are always a comfortable temperature. Motel is close to Mollymook beach and not far from Ulladulla town center so there are plenty of places to go for coffees and meals. I enjoyed talking to the owner about where to go for surfing lessons and he was more than happy to help. I would definitely stay again!

Very friendly service from family run Motel with ocean views and great free Breakfast. Very clean neat rooms. Stayed in Garden View room but still had ocean view. Even though on highway hardly any road noise. Good looking swimming pool (didn’t swim as bit cool).
