Stayed for 2 nights at this lovely village Chambre d'Hote a few miles from Blois. Christel and Claude were great hosts and Christel's cooking was superb - so much choice at both dinner and breakfast. Our room was quirky with sloping floors but was very comfortable. We visited the (relatively) nearby Chateau de Chaumont and Blois itself which was pleasant enough but fairly unexciting. Would recommend A La Lettre The as a base for touring this part of the Loire Valley.

We have spent 4 nights in this rural house. ALL 10 We have been in the very cute jardinier room The owner is a charm, super nice and friendly Rooms with super comfortable mattress and everything very neat and clean The formidable and very abundant breakfast and always with sweets made by her THANK YOU for your kindness and advice

Ce fut une belle découverte, nous avons été bien accueillis par l’hôtesse des lieux. Nous avons déguster une belle assiette avec des produits locaux, ainsi qu’une bonne tarte en Prune , sans compter du thé froid fait maison ,qui était délicieux . Beaucoup de points positifs. Le salon de thé est très atypique et original avec une belle histoire derrière . Je recommande vivement. Petit point négatif, la terrasse donne sur la rue, et parfois des voitures qui passent, donc un peu bruyant (mais c’est pas très gênant )Ce serait beaucoup plus joli fermé d’un côté de façon à ne pas voir les voitures,avec un rideau végétal ou autre? Rendre un peu plus harmonieuse la terrasse avec un peu plus de couleurs . Sinon tout le reste, c’était vraiment top. Le salon de thé mérite d’être connu un peu plus .

Nous y avons passé une nuit vraiment très agréable, dans un cadre magnifique ! La chambre était spacieuse, aménagée avec goût, confortable et calme. La route passante est bruyante jusqu'en début de soirée, puis le calme arrive et nous nous sommes réveillés reposés ! Je recommande.
