The standard of the room and cleanliness is OK, but the treatment from staff/owners (?) is lacking and not to be trusted. Had a reservation for two nights through Booking that was secured via credit card, but on arrival they wanted payment directly up front (which of course is OK and we settled the bill for both nights). The next day they wanted to charge us for our rooms again (at a much higher price), and we had to argue a long time both on the price (that was stated on our reservation) and the fact that we had already payed for the full stay. Finally when we refused to pay more, they said "mistake", but no further explanation was given, not even when writing to the guesthouse through the booking app. Also, in our reservation breakfast was supposed to be included (and previous guests praised it), but there was no breakfast at all on both mornings, only a coffee was offerered to us from the adjacent cafe the first morning, the second not even that, and no explanation was given. In our room the electrical installation seemed amateurish with cable wires bare. In conclusion, we hope the real management went on holiday and will be back soon, if not, this guesthouse is very disorganised and should be avoided.
