We thoroughly enjoyed 3 nights at Servigroup Mojácar Playa. All meals taken were excellent. We had full board and found dri ks in the restaurant to be of average price for a 4 star hotel. The pools were excellent especially the one that appeared to be salt water. Beautiful view up to Mojacar Pueblo from the very comfortable room that also had a Seaview. The restaurant was very well run by the first class restaurant manager and all his very pleasant staff. We enjoyed the Girasol sitting area in particular and all staff who worked in there at lunch and dinner were particularly friendly as were the girls who checked you in for meals. The housekeeping staff, pool staff and maintenence men all worked hard to keep place clean and tidy. The only thing we found better at the Marina Mar was the indoor leisure facilities and the bar at the side of the hotel had a bit more life than the beach bar at the Marina Playa. The entertainment in both hotels was geared towards children but that was not a problem but maybe a few activities geared towards adults would be good. Building work was going on at the hotel next door which was a bit off putting when we arrived but never really noticed it whilst in hotel itself. All and all a great stay and hope to return.

We stayed for one week full board. Everything was perfect. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous. A special mention goes to the maintenance men who were replacing the large glass door. Also to the dinning room staff, especially Bernardo and the lady with glasses who helped our son regarding vegan food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Ok hotel, nothing special. Basic room. We had B&B basis, breakfast was nice. No tea/coffee making facilities. No English channels on tv. Very, very quiet in November. Irish bar & Italian restaurant closed for the season as were the on site shops. Restaurants close by also closed. A walk of 20-30 mins closer to be centre of Mojácar had cafes, shops, bars & restaurants.

1st time in this hotel. Staff are great, hotel clean food good , can get a bus transport outside good. Indoor pool is a bonus if weather is poor or like me you don't like cold water but could do with a bit of a refurbishment. All round lovely stay would definitely stay again and recommend it.

We stayed one night en route to home. Very big hotel but very quiet given the time of year. I think would be fantastic for families, 3 pools, one is indoor and the beach directly opposite, (couldn’t see sun beds). There seemed to be a games room and activities for kids but closed on our visit early November. Spacious room, overlooking the sea and very clean. Bathroom was a bit dated, beds comfortable and large, our room had two double beds pushed together. Situated at quieter end of town which might not suit some. Weirdly there is no kettle, tea or coffee in the room but you can get a kettle from reception (with a deposit) surely this is a basic facility in a 4 star hotel.

Lovely spacious bedroom, but could do with a lot more draw space. All staff were very helpful. All areas of the hotel were spotless. The downside was the canteen couldn’t call it a restaurant. It’s extremely noisy and not enjoyable. The food was mainly warm, even if you went in when it first opened. The evening entertainment was nonexistent & it started at 11pm, no activity’s during the day. It’s in a very quiet area, there is nothing to walk to, no shops or bars, you have to rely on taxis to get anywhere. It’s stated as 4 star, in my opinion 3 star would be better.

Just WOW! The standard of care in this hotel is perfect....a truly fabulous team of people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The reception and restaurant staff, bar staff, cleaning team....all superb!! A special thank you to Vanessa in the bar!!! The rooms are not the most modern but the hotel is immaculate with comfortable beds and great showers!.... Tea and coffee making facilities would be truly welcome in the room The view from our room was spectacular....We could never tire of it My husband really enjoyed the pool and spa facilities, said they were excellent. The restaurant facilities were so well managed. Two really large groups arrived whilst we were there and every single member of staff worked so hard to accommodate everyone. The choices of breakfast, lunch and dinner were great quality, varied and well presented (I was concerned as we had read some poor reviews.....totally untrue!) Even the hotel Manager took the time to introduce herself to us ....once again so friendly All in all a fantastic stay. We have worked in tourism for over 30 years and know how difficult this type of work can be..... 10/10 !!! and Congratulations Team Marina Playa. We are already planning our next visit !!!
