The experience this time was different than the previous time. The server lady at our table was awesome!! Very attentive. We asked ahead of time if we could use conference room to practice yoga. we were told yes if we make arrangements with reception to come and open us since wellness was opened since 10am. We wanted to practice 8am. It was 7:47am when we kindly asked receptionist if she could open us so we can do yoga. She kind of rudely responded “no- the rule says 8am”. Really??? 13min would probably kill her. Anyway, the quilts were thinner and we were cold during the night. The wellness was opening 10am but the infra sauna was cold and we had to open it ourselves. Also other amenities in wellness area were not heated up properly.

Nice place, nice room with beautiful view, very clean wellness and swimming pool, just I was in choke with the breakfast, buffet was empty (we arrived 1 hour before close no body refills the plates (sausage, water, sweet), it wasn’t breakfast for 4 starts hotel.

Great hotel set away from the busy towns in the area. 4* with excellent wellness set up, polite staff and a good selection on the restaurant menu. Easy access to the hotel with parking, and we stayed in a wood cabin style room with large veranda which was delightful in fact. Excellent.

The luxurious Hotel Zochova chata located in the forest near the town of Modra is overrated because of the well-known hotel´s name and its location. However, the reality was a bit more sobering than the hotel's brilliant marketing. We chose this hotel for a corporate event held in December 2022. However, the quality of the food, service and overall experience was below average. The slow and unhelpful waiters and bartenders did not care and were not interested in taking care of the hotel guests, although the prices of the drinks are high enough (eg a shot of Diplomatico rum cost 10 Euros!). The whole experience can be described as poorly managed by the hotel staff and also the lack of food, which was also mediocre. I do not recommend this hotel for organizing any business event or for a personal stay. Exaggerated, expensive and bad service says it all.
