Restaurant and Food Quality: The on-site restaurant received consistent praise for its high-quality food, friendly service, and ambiance, with several guests noting that the dining experience met or exceeded expectations, including special dietary accommodations.

The hotel is right by the ocean, we had a view of the ocean from our room. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms, which I highly recommend. The negative reviews are about the rooms that haven't been renovated. Love the balcony. I wish there were less trees blocking the view, they need to be trimmed. There are steps that lead to the beach, they are well maintained. The stairs are steep. I thought it would be tough going back up but it wasn't a problem at all. We appreciated the quiet AC/heater unit in our room . We got a room on the top floor and it was super quiet. We stayed off season on weekdays though. Staff is friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel. The food and drinks were excellent. They have lots of tiki drinks that are super cheap compared to other high end restaurants. Incredible view of the ocean from our table. Our server Ryan was so friendly, attentive and is an excellent bartender. Hopefully they will open the restaurant back up for breakfast and lunch soon. They only serve dinner right now. This hotel is a gem.

I stayed at Ocean Crest Resort in Moclips, WA, expecting a clean, safe resort experience as advertised. What I found was dangerous and unacceptable.Immediate safety hazards included:Electrical wiring stapled in place, and a wall outlet sparked when I unplugged a device.An electrical box was pulling loose from the ceiling, with a dated light plugged it and swagged over a table.Bedroom windows required climbing to exit in an emergency.Additional issues:Torn futon, broken and delaminating cabinets, splintering bathroom door, and a hole in the bathtub.Damaged walls, unsecured doors, bug on the carpet, and toilet paper stuffed in a peephole.Poorly patched cabinetry and dated fixtures.I reported these issues to the onsite manager and through *******, but Jess Owen, who manages the property, refused to take responsibility or issue a refund, even after ******* spoke with him twice. I also attempted to contact the listed owning company, Khan Properties, but received no response. I learned that after a suspicious fire in 2011, some parts of Ocean Crest were renovated, but other parts were left to deteriorate since the 1970s. Photos on their website did not accurately represent the level of deterioration I found in the room I was given.  I paid over $300 for one night and would not recommend staying here to anyone.I’ve included photos of the hazards and damage. Guests deserve transparency and safety — and this property fails on both.
