Super 8 by Wyndham Mitchell

Bates Motel. Don’t stay.suggest your car! Kleenex box rusty,floor unclean , electrical sketchy, dead bugs on floor, beds lumpy.

The hotel bathroom door was rotted out and couldn’t be closed properly. There was dust and dirt in bathroom on the hairdryer and cords, dirt around the quarter rounds, dead flies on sleeping area floor, The pillows were lumpy, the mattress pad didn’t fit the bed and hung out of the bed frame, The electrical was Jerry rigged, The only room available that night in Mitchell.

The toilet is too small and too close to the floor, otherwise, the room was big and the beds were soft. We requested to be close to the elevator and we were.

The hotel is in need of refurbishing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was disgustingly and not well maintained. From having our own personal pool - we know that the pool was overfilled not allowing it to skim properly, it was green and smelled of algae enough so you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. We had stayed there for the cost and the indoor pool. Was very disappointed in that! Cost was appropriate for the condition of the motel. Again, staff was very good or this rating would have been lower.

The room was unclean, never received the WiFi network name or password. There was a huge dumpster right out front taking up several parking spots

I know this was an inexpensive room, but we did not fare well here. The place seemed to be slightly under construction and the carpet needed a food vacuum and wash. It was 100 degrees in Mitchell, and even though our AC was on 62, the room was a sweltering 85 degrees all night. The bathroom faucet was broken, and the towels were small. The carpet in the room was stained and could have used a shampoo, too. I travel a lot, and this place just wasn’t a place I’d recommend.
