The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort

Just came back from an amazing 6-night stay at the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort and already want to go back. The people, snorkeling and island are magnificent. The Westin Maldives team is hardworking, passionate and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. From Ali always seeming to know exactly what we needed and our cocktail specialist; Yanis (aka mr. Dior) being so kind; Celine the fashion lover giving us some great tips on excursions; Aiman the comedian always making us smile; Shaarim the hard worker memorizing our favourites; Chef Min customizing and creating new dishes; the Dive Centre team keeping us safe and showing us the best snorkeling spots; Athar and team keeping the rooms clean and impressing us with bamboo art; Laurent the thoughtful leader; and to so many others making our stay memorable. The house reef is beautiful, you can walk in and immediately won’t know where to start looking. Spotted reef sharks daily and the 5-minute boat trip to brother island for more exploration allowed us to admire a turtle and moray eel amongst all the corals and fish. Spa amenities are lovely and peaceful. Rooms are great and big with the best beds, but could benefit from a bit of a refurbishment. Sea plane transfer to the island can take a bit longer, depending on seaplane schedules that only become available with little time in advance, so keep that in mind when you are planning your trip. Thanks to all of the Westin team for a wonderful stay.

Great place to escaped and recharge your self away from the bustling city. The food was excellent, sumptuous and very artistic preparation. Staff are very friendly and smiling all the time, very accommodating and they have their own initiative to cater what you really need. Hope to visit this place again.

Amazing resort at Maldives, but more importantly, managed by delicate hands who are on top of every detail to please their customers with great effort and intention. Hotel Manager Mr. Laurent is with the guests all the time, listening to their feedback wholeheartedly, and fixing if he feels something that doesn’t align with their well-set standards. Front Office Manager Mr. Simad works around the clock, fulfilling customer’s requests for short notice changes, putting customers’ happiness in the forefront everything he does. The Dive Center led by Mr.Amir has amazing equipment and staff that clearly set expectations in advance for any trip and involve in every trip to please their guests. It was a wonderful trip for a family of 4, thank you The Westin Miriandhoo Resort from the bottom of our heart!!

After 10 years, we are back at Maldives and this time we decided on Westin Maldives Mirandhoo Resort to spend our 10 years wedding anniversary, albeit now with 2 kids in toll. We knew we would be there for a good time but all the while we worried if our kids would enjoy it too. Right from the first minute we set foot on Westin Maldives our worries were abated. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves from day 1. They spent most of their time in either the beach, pool or with Teacher Karen at the Kids' Club which they visit religiously on a daily basis. They were also thrilled to see wild dolphins for the first time in their lives! Even before we are due to take our flight back they made us promise to come back again! All of the resort staffs from Simad, Laurent, Vijay, Deepak, Rohit, Chef Fahdrul, Chef Min, Saud & Team (in no particular order and too many to mention) whom were all friendly, nice and warm, took care of all our needs to make this holiday a truly memorable and unforgettable 10 year anniversary trip. It definitely made our long tiring trip there very much worth it! We can't forget the spa treatment we received from the therapists as well, the only regret was we can't linger longer as we were due to pick up our kids from the Kid's club. Waking up to the calmly sound of the waves truly made the experience of a lifetime for us. They really go all out to make our stay, Chef Min always check if our food was to our liking, and we can always request for anything we want especially if any of the food is not to our liking, which we don't and absolutely love the food there. They have special themes like BBQ etc. We love our meal at The Pearl as well, not forgetting Island Kitchen and the Hawker. There's really too many to mention in terms of what we like in Westin Maldives and we cant' thank all their staffs enough. Thank you very much team Westin Maldives Mirandhoo Resort for making our holiday and giving us some many reasons to go back again!

Fantastic experience with Westin Maldives. Great service and fantastic view. The hotel management team is open for feedback and will adopt customers’ suggestions. Chef Min is really awesome and provides top notch service. He always asked me what do I want to eat and will make a custom order for me. The only one improvement I can think of is that it’s alway very hot and lack of air flow in the main restaurant. If adding some fan or AC, it will be perfect.

WOW! We stayed at Westin Maldives in May 2024. Previously having visited the Ritz Carlton and Movenpick this hotel is far above the best value for money. The beach villa was huge and with the private pool was superb - we loved the outdoor shower also. The staff at this hotel were excellent especially Ali, and if something wasnt on the all inclusive we simply asked and they provided it. The resort is pretty small which makes it really intimate and the staff soon get to know you. The Pearl Japanese was excellent, we ate there 3 times in 5 nights. The Hawkers asian street food was good - not to our taste but the asian visitors appear to be enjoying it. We most definitely will be back to this resort in the future as it was an unforgettable stay!
