The hotel has a great view and is worth staying in. The only problem is that the breakfast is not tasty and the content is too small. It would be much better if more content could be added. The hardware is average. Being close to the airport is also an advantage.

Our short stay experience at Tamarind Tree Garden Resort exceeded all expectations. The property is lovely charming, but the front office team truly sets this place apart. From the smooth check-in to arranging local activities and answering our endless questions, they were always patient, friendly, and efficient. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests. It’s not often you come across staff who make you feel this at home. We’ll definitely return again.

I had the chance to visit this beautiful property during my recent trip to Negombo. Tamarind Tree Garden Resort is a charming, nature friendly place with a beautifully maintained garden, just about 10 minutes from Colombo International Airport. Despite being so close to the airport, the resort feels calm and peaceful perfect for more than just a transit stop. The layout of the rooms is well thought out, and they offer great options for families too. The suite rooms, which come with two bathrooms, are a perfect match for small families with kids. Also, the spacious living area in each room adds great value. Ayurvedic treatments and yoga are also available, which further enhance the relaxing experience. That said, a little more attention to cleanliness, general neatness, and service standards would help elevate the overall experience. Just a few small improvements could really make a big difference. Still, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape with easy airport access.

Beautiful place. Gardens were gorgeous. Rooms were large and spacey. Pool area was large and quiet while we were there. Lovely temperature. Dinner was buffet style for us as we were half board but they did have an a la carte. Breakfast was buffet style. All good. Definitely stay again if we came again. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

We went to the hotel for breakfast yesterday. That was a nice marvelous place full of clam . And I am highly appreciate that girl who wore a colour full saree , she looks like an air hostess, and welcome us warmly smile. And the food was delicious and they treated us nicely. Overall Good!!!

We stayed at this hotel as it is 10mins from international airport . It has high spec large rooms with a fantastic outdoor heated pool . The resort is spread out like an all inclusive resort with lots of chipmunks and birds in the grounds . A very relaxing place to stay .

This was my second visit to Tamarind Tree Hotel. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience compared to my first stay, which was genuinely impressive. While the room itself was acceptable, it had a strong, unpleasant odor similar to that of a toilet, which made the stay uncomfortable. The biggest letdown, however, was the service. The front office staff were unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy when communicating with guests — something I did not expect from a hotel of this standard. Given the decline in service and lack of hospitality, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at the moment. I hope the management takes serious steps to improve both staff training and room hygiene.

We stayed at tamarind tree garden resort with our family for weekend getway.From the moment arrived front office staff given us excellent welcome and lovely welcome drink.our first impression is admiring.Specially i would like to mention Darsha at the front office doing excellent job. When we made the reservation she explain everything very well after we came to the hotel she take care us just like a family.all the staff very friendly and attentive.we will come again surely.
