Quality Inn Mineral Point

I made a reservation through Trips.com. The night before we were supposed to be there my family member was in a fatal accident. I messaged trips.com and they got a hold of the motel. The motel would not have the decency to refund my money even for that circumstance. I will never use that motel or go through trips.com again. They need to make exceptions. They just take people's money and don't care.

Nice basic hotel. Clean, upkept rooms and facilities. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad either.

The Goldilocks and the Three Bears story comes to mind. Some things were too hard, such as getting into our room with the poorly functioning key cards. Some things were too soft such as the lukewarm hot tub, the "continental" breakfast being mostly cheap packaged baked goods, the typical waffle machine, and the lack of freshness. But, for the most part Goldilocks knew what she was getting into when she booked the budget hotel. And, I have to say that some things were just right. The room was clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff were helpful. And the location just 4 minutes from downtown Mineral Point was awesome. We had wanted to stay in the downtown at the Mineral Point hotel, but they only allowed two people per room and my wife wasn't about to leave our son in the car overnight, especially in the winter. So, all in all the Quality Inn is just right.

Nice place, we enjoyed our stay! We had a wonderful stay. Staff was friendly, our room was clean and comfortable. Nice amenities like the nice pool and hot tub, and a free continental breakfast which we enjoyed. The interior was nice, but there are a lot of weeds growing outside which detract from the place, but other than that, everything looked great! We were just doing a one night stay, we went to House on the Rock for my husband’s birthday. We would stay here again if we go back there some time!

Very clean friendly. Breakfast alright but not as many options as other hotels offering free breakfast. No scrambled eggs or meats or biscuit and gravy but other things such as waffle maker and toast cereal yogurt mini donuts muffins juices.

Perfect location to attend Shake Rag Alley event.
