Nice little cottage. As some reviews shared, location is not close to town which was expected. The friendly couple at check in and process is smooth even when they don’t speak English. Did not realise the amenities was without towels and tried to knock on their office past 9pm to ask if they are able to provide but there was no answer. Had to live without towels for the 1 night I was there unfortunately.

Perfect for families but the location is not so easy to find and the entrance road is very steep. Owners were friendly, hotels in this area are very expensive and this is one of the cheaper place. It's not a walkable distance to Kurokawa Onsen area.

The location is a bit remote, to reserve driving time, at the latest 20:00 to check in, I got lost, the boss waited until 20:30, very sorry, the house has kitchen utensils to cook, outdoor hot spring, excellent environment

The location is a bit tricky to walk to, but we were able to get help with the pick-up. The accommodation is a private house, and everything including the kitchen was perfect. The scenery around the mountain was also very impressive, and it was nice to take a walk in the morning. The owner couple was very kind and friendly. We were very satisfied with the cost-effectiveness, and if we were looking for a hot spring, we would definitely go here again.

Situated on top of a mountain near a village with many different thermal springs. The house has a large balcony with a view of the neighbouring mountains, a large equipped kitchen. A good house.

A very satisfying stay! The design of the cabin is stunning. The two-story independent cabin allows children to climb up and down as much as they like. The owner of the B&B is very enthusiastic. Even if he doesn't understand the language, he tries his best to use translation software to introduce Kurokawa Onsen's attractions and B&B facilities. It really makes people feel like returning to their hometown. Kurokawa is very quiet at night, and you can really enjoy the tranquility and leisure of the deep mountain hot springs. The cabin is fully equipped and can be used for simple cooking. I cooked Japanese sukiyaki pot with the children in the cabin, which was very satisfying! The outdoor hot spring in the B&B is another amazing place. Because it was summer, we didn’t make a reservation for the hot spring. The owner of the B&B enthusiastically invited us to enjoy it (unexpectedly). Unexpectedly, it turned out to be an independent open-air hot spring. I highly recommend making a reservation. It’s too Feel comfortable! The next day, the children were very reluctant to say goodbye to the owner of the B&B and the owner's dog. Along the way, they still missed the comfortable bed (actually just a tatami sleeping mat) in the B&B. I will definitely visit again next time I have the opportunity! A highly recommended accommodation. The warm welcome from the old couple made us feel very happy.

The owner and his wife are kind, friendly and hospitable. The cabin is well-equipped with cooking stoves, bowls and chopsticks, a playground, an independent hot spring pool indoors, and a family hot spring that can be reserved outdoors. The cabin is located in the forest, and we can see many stars at night. When we arrived, we even saw a little fox, which seemed to welcome us! The cabin is worth recommending to everyone.

Good accommodation, complete with convenient equipment. Buy fresh food and cook it yourself. The weather is nice and the wind is so satisfying. The people in charge are very cute. The price is considered quite cheap when compared to other accommodations in the area. Going with family, booking a private onsen is very cheap.

The cozy independent cabin is equipped with cooking utensils and you can also buy your own materials for barbecue. It is suitable for couples, families and groups of friends. If you are driving by yourself, you can find it by following the directions on Google Maps. The old uncle and old lady in charge of management were very friendly. They arrived around 7pm on the first day, so there was no communication after check-in. The next morning we were out for a walk and happened to meet an old uncle walking his dog, so we got to know each other a lot. It turned out that the old uncle was a shy person, and then we also chatted with the old lady. Although we didn’t understand the language, they also tried to use a translation app to chat with us. , very kind and enthusiastic❤️

Family room which corresponds to a chalet with a large kitchen area with gas stove and living room with futons available. Beautiful view and outdoor furniture. Bathroom including an 'onsen' bathtub. Calm. Better to take a taxi from Onsen Kurokawa, the owner kindly took us back.
