Very nice public baths (you could use all three public baths in their sister hotels nearby

Location is a bit far off from Karukawa Onsen area (5 minute by car but 30 minutes by foot). The rooms/baths don't feel or look very clean. The food is so-so.

The hotel felt like a hidden gem, with spacious rooms and a comfortable onsen. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel also provided a convenient shuttle service. A perfect experience!

Great hotel, one night and two meals. We chartered a car to Aso Volcano that day, so the driver took us directly to the hotel. The address and location of Ctrip are accurate, just follow it. Far away from the hot spring street, the cherry blossoms in the mountains are later than other places. When cherry blossoms, peach blossoms, magnolias, azaleas, and winter jasmines all appear in front of you, it feels so satisfying. The room has a private bath, but the hotel's outdoor bath and the outdoor bath of Shanshuimu (the brother hotel next door) make you not want to take a bath in the room at all. The food is also good.

There are two houses in a building. Next to it is Shanshuimu. It is a holiday. You can also take a bath in Shanshuimu in the morning and afternoon. A group recommends Shenshan. The bathing facilities are OK. The food is OK. The recommendation is OK.

Miyama Sansou opened in 2014 with all rooms as private rooms, following in the footsteps of Shinmeikan, with 120 years of tradition, and Yamamizuki, which opened in 1989. Compared to Yamamizuki, the facilities were naturally better, but the so-called Western I felt more scent In terms of customer service, the downside is that you can't expect omotenashi. However, the kaiseki and room condition were great.
