Good service, good food

Hot spring is bad! Especially for the hot springs on the rooftop, it is very dangerous to go up the stairs outside the hotel at night without lights! And the hot spring has no drainage, just like a small bathtub. When checking out, the staff asked us to leave and we were not allowed to stay in the lobby anymore. This service was very poor!

I took public transportation, expecting snow to accumulate. I got lost at first because I didn't know the way to walk from the bus stop, but I was able to find it using Google Maps. The room was warm and very different from the inn I stayed at in Yufuin before, and I slept soundly in the fluffy futon at night. Perhaps it was because of the hot spring, but it was the first time I was able to sleep without going to the restroom elsewhere. The food was also satisfactory. The staff were also nice. You can take your own coffee to your room. At night, from the bridge right next to the inn, the round illuminations were beautiful both upstream and downstream, and tourists went down to the river to take pictures. It just so happened that it was my friend's birthday! This was a surprise and made for a memorable trip.
