I would like to especially thank the Japanese sister who speaks Chinese at the front desk and the driver. After taking a hot spring bath in the hotel, I was very energetic and went to the surrounding mountains with great interest. I walked for less than an hour and got a little lost. It was getting dark, so I immediately found a way to the national highway nearby. After contacting the hotel, I was picked up. I really appreciate the trouble on such a hot day. The Japanese sister recommended three other hotels' hot springs, which were great. I will come again in winter.

Kurokawa is a more local hot spring in Japan. It does not have the high-end commercialization of Beppu. Transportation can only be done by bus. The hotel is right on the hot spring street. You can easily find the hotel by following the road signs after getting off the bus. If you don't want to walk, you can directly contact the hotel car to pick you up at the bus station. The hot spring is very clean and right next to the waterfall. It is very pleasant to soak and listen to the sound of the waterfall. There is also a three-hour hiking route outside the hotel, which starts a beautiful day in Kurokawa.
