This is my second time here, and it's close to Minakami Station, so it's perfect for a spontaneous solo trip to see the snow. The building is very spacious, but it's well-cleaned and a very clean inn. There are many foreign staff members, but they are well-trained and more friendly and polite than the average Japanese. The dinner and breakfast buffets are delicious, and the hot springs are very good, both in the private baths and the large public baths. I was worried that there would be a lot of foreign group tourists and that it would be noisy, but I got the impression that they were all well-mannered foreign tourists. I would like to come to this inn every year when it snows.

It’s a bit far to drive to Tokyo! The hotel is clean! The environment is beautiful and the food is very good! Excellent value for money! Only too many tour groups! It’s all for the elderly and young people to consider!

Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style with a wide variety of options and I was very satisfied.

The guests stayed in a newly renovated furo room. The scenery outside the room was ordinary. The restaurant was like a school canteen. The tables were crowded and the sound was noisy during the meal. The leisurely pleasure of enjoying the meal was lost.

Most of the hotel guests are Japanese, and there are not many tourists. I felt that there were not many guests on the day of check-in, but I didn't understand that for a two-night stay, I was assigned to the oldest and most remote floor. The hotel itself is very large, but the dining hall seats for breakfast and dinner are arranged. It was densely packed, very crowded and uncomfortable, and there were obviously not enough staff, making it feel chaotic during the meal.

This is a Nippon tour hotel, it doesn’t have the comfort of a hot spring hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Breakfast was good, but what was really great was the dinner. There are big strawberries. There was unlimited sweetness to eat. It was really great. On the first day of our stay, there was no snow at all. But on the second day, after traveling to the ski resort, when we returned to the hotel, we found snow in front of the hotel and inside the hotel, maybe 1 foot high. Very beautiful, impressive. The first day of showering was outdoors and the atmosphere was very refreshing. Think about soaking in warm mineral water in an atmosphere of 0 degrees. On the second day, you can take an indoor shower because the weather is minus 3 degrees, so it's better to take a shower indoors. The staff took very good care of us, like close relatives. Ask anything, I can answer it all. Recommend only good things The waiters were very attentive. In conclusion, I got a full score for this trip.

Overall I'm glad I stayed there. It happened to be when the fireworks were being displayed, so perhaps I enjoyed it even more than usual. I thought most of the food at the buffet was delicious. I particularly liked the fresh-squeezed orange juice machine that was provided at breakfast. Most of the staff were foreigners, but they were quick and efficient, which was nice.

Upon arrival, the check-in instructions were thorough. Every time I passed by an employee, everyone greeted me and I felt very comfortable. In the room, the air conditioning was a little difficult to understand, it took some time to find the remote control for the lights, and the sound of drainage from other rooms was a bit bothersome. However, the bath I went for this time was the best. It was spacious and clean, and I was able to enjoy the open-air bath, so I had a really relaxing time. Next time I would like to use the private open-air bath. The buffet meal was delicious and had enough quantity for our family. However, if it wasn't the final time, I wonder if there would have been a little more variety? I thought so. I was able to walk around the garden and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I still want to use it.

Anyway, the bath is the best. There are three types of public baths for guests to use, all of which have an indoor bath and an open-air bath, as well as a private bath (for a fee). It was so big that I would want to go again just to take a bath. The food was actually better eaten in the room, but each item on the buffet was carefully seasoned and delicious. You should definitely try the freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast! It's too delicious!

I've stayed there before, but since it's 1/3 of the size, there were a lot of people there. I ate what I wanted to eat and was satisfied, but I was disappointed that the seats I was given were the same both in the evening and in the morning, which was a busy place. There were fewer people in the bath than I expected, and I was able to take a bath in three different places, so I was able to relax. I was looking forward to the fireworks, but I had to cling to the window to see them, so I gave up my spot to my small child and just enjoyed the sounds. I think it would be fun for everyone to have fireworks at the bottom, like Niagara Falls. Overall, this is a place I would like to stay at again.

It was good point ・The large public bath is very spacious and beautiful. There is also a sauna and you can fully enjoy outdoor bathing. ・The food is delicious considering it's a buffet. Many local ingredients are used, and you can enjoy it even just inside the hotel. ・The lobby has a sofa, a wood-burning fireplace, and water available, making it a great place to meet up after taking a bath. ・Heating is effective throughout the building, making it difficult for the water to cool down. ・Although there were many foreign employees, everyone was kind, courteous, and pleasant. What wasn't good ・The water system in the room was worn out. ・The waiting area outside the public bath is cold. It was my first time on the water, and I think it's a great accommodation with great value for money considering the surrounding prices.
