Very average place which needs some maintenance and better service. Good marketing, but does not live up to those expectations. Had numerous issues including room temperature control not working, terrible housekeeping (non existent two days), disinterested staff, water leaks in room, and broken fitness equipment - honestly quite poor experience. Gets good marks for location and lobby space is welcoming - and a decent bar. Skip the restaurant as very mediocre (never saw it busy my entire stay) with many other options nearby. This hotel was clearly once a nice place and good concept, but seems poorly run and in desperate need of investment.

This hotel was very nice. Room was a nice size, it was clean. Shower was great. You can walk to the Haley Davidson museum, where I recommend paying for the tour. The hotel has valet available, but you can just park across the street and save around $8 plus tip. There is a nice bar area at the hotel, although we didn't experience it. There are several good breakfast places in walking distance. The main downtown area. Is not in walking distance.

This is one of those places where you can just stay and enjoy the hotel all evening. From the great cocktails and food to the very cozy robes in the spacious and comfortable room. Love our stays here!

As a long-time customer of this hotel, I was very disappointed by the poor quality of service and the lack of respect shown by the front desk staff towards a foreign customer. I deeply regret that the front desk staff and their supervisor treat customers so poorly. Despite all the love I have for this historic hotel, I will not be returning and have already advised my friends and family not to stay there.

Great hotel, unique decorations, impeccable rooms, and super friendly staff. We recommend it to everyone visiting. Shy, at the front desk, is such a wonderful hostess. Thank you for always welcoming us and accommodating our needs. Thank you!

The hotel looks nice online, but DO NOT GO! I booked 6 rooms for my daughter's wedding, and 2 of the rooms had water dripping from the ceiling (probs the HVAC system) which pooled onto the floor. Definitely a falling hazard when you walk into the dimly lit rooms! The front desk said to put towels down on the floor...no mention of giving us new rooms. I have tried contacting the "night" manager numerous times, but she has not returned my calls (she was not there when we checked out...or so they say). As you know, the rooms are expensive, and I feel I should be compensated. Don't eat in the restaurant, either. Our family sat down for breakfast and it took 1 hour to get our food (there was also only one server). Definitely not a 4 star experience. Needless to say, I will never go back, and I will spread the word to my friends and acquaintances.

I stay here whenever I can. Great hotel and such cool decor! Restaurant / bar is great. Beautiful outside dining area. My only complaint is that if you don't get parking included in your stay, it's really expensive. The valet, which is the best option (super quick BTW) was $44/day. I got parking included so it wasn't a big deal. I think self parking in the ramp was $30+ / day? Keep that in mind when booking.

What a horrible hotel and staff. A big waste of money. I asked the hotel manager to call me about an ongoing issue and they were too important to call me back. Avoid this place

Unfortunately we were quite let down by our recent stay at the iron horse. My wife and I decided to stay here for a couple nights following our wedding the previous weekend. From afar, the hotel seemed to be unique, conveniently located, and very nice. However, our stay was much different than anticipated. Upon arrival our room was dirty with crumbs and dust covering most surfaces. Additionally, our mini fridge door was broken and didn’t shut all the way (unfortunately we discovered this after we had to throw away food that was warm when we went to eat it). We were able to get the fridge shut but only by propping it closed with our own cooler. The next issue came with the TV in our room that wouldn’t connect to the internet and thus was completely useless during our stay. When we asked about this we were told it was a whole hotel issue and there was nothing to be done. When we went to check out I told the front desk that we were generally unhappy with the stay considering how much $ we payed per night. I was met with general hostility and rather aggressively asked “well did you even tell anyone about the issues?”. I explained that I had told someone and that that’s besides the point. When you spend money to stay at a “four star hotel” for a mini honeymoon you don’t expect to need to have maintenance and cleaning staff in and out of your room fixing things. Overall, my wife and I were very displeased by the state of the hotel and will not be returning until something has changed with how it is run. We will also be advising those we know to avoid this hotel in the future.
