Terrible customer services No one answers the phones and when they do they are unhelpful and unhelpful Shame great location and a great chain just terrible front of house and reception team

Just returned from a two night stay and feel as though I have not had a relaxing break First day the room was lovely ground floor lovely view very clean until water started to pour in through the spot lights in the bathroom so we moved room thank you the super efficient Megan on the front desk very helpful and understanding of the serious health and safety situation we were in unlike other senior staff who just replied it's normal it happens all the time dont worry it's safe Second day in new lovely room with a walk in shower that the drain is bubbling up brown water like a fountain when the toilet is flushed and banging like a samba band and ants all crawling across the furniture and bedding my friend got bitten twice We left tired and disappointed A big shout out to Megan though who is a star and molly and Luke in the mere who brightened our stay

To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. I’ve spent the past three days trying to speak with Raymond dela Cruz front of house manager directly to arrange what should have been a simple hotel stay. It’s baffling to me why you would accept a booking, proceed to amend it, and then cancel it the day before arrival—especially during Goodwood weekend. I represent a large chauffeur company that provides services for Qatar Airways, the title sponsor of this year’s festival. We have over 50 rooms booked across the event, and I must say your team has been the most uncooperative and unsupportive of all I’ve dealt with. Thank you for letting me down at the last minute. I look forward to receiving my refund as soon as possible.

Used to work here, so I came back for a visit a few years later thinking it would be the relaxing getaway I had remembered guests telling me about. Came back to find almost everything the same- completely out of date and desperately in need of modernisation. Prices were adequate but the treatments were low quality. I would expect better from somewhere I had been telling people was "luxurious" for years! Lunch hasn't changed at all from what I used to serve, and actually isn't as "healthy" as they like to make out. Not impressed.

The restaurant was lovely, ginger James served us really well. Real credit to the team. Food was superb, we got the bread, the linguine and the fruit plate, would recommend to other families!

The welcome was very quick and friendly reception. Food was hot , tasty and service was excellent in the restaurant. Molly was very knowledgeable about the menu and she gave us an amazing service. The breakfast and lunch was fresh , replenished regularly and staff was attentive. The table and restaurant was clean and tables cleared promptly. Spa was calm and enjoyable and just enough visitors . Check out was quick and staff very happy and friendly. Thank you

The Hotel was very dated, could not swim in the outdoor pool it was very dirty & the bottom stained. paving slabs around the pool very uneven definitely a trip hazard.Breakfast in the morning was spoiled by wasps all over the fresh fruit which was not refrigerated was informed they had a wasp nest lovely view but could not take drinks outside wasps everywhere. Room very dated with no air conditioning or fridge. Expensive overrated.

The “luxury” room we booked was dated, with a chipped desk, makeup/paint smeared on the curtains and the bedside reading light completely missing. We also had an issue with the shower, going from blistering hot to freezing cold in a second.

Lovely hotel staff very friendly- had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Staff look after us . Great customer service . Thank you to Manfred for making are evening special . Definitely with recommend to friends and family .
