Courtyard Dallas Midlothian at Midlothian Conference Center

Enjoyed property but when spending time with the family and kids, we overheard bartender using profanity. Kids were with in earshot and there was no need for it in the conversation he was having with customers at the bar.

I almost don’t want to write this review because the employees at the hotel were so nice but the owner needs to take responsibility for the condition of his property. I had a two queen bed room and was on the top floor. The room faced the highway so it was a bit noisy especially in the morning but the air conditioner was so noisy it drowned out the highway noise. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The air unit was struggling to keep the air cool and had a mildewy smell. The bathroom was not as clean. There was pink mold in the shower and the curtain had brown slimy mold on the bottom. There are buttons on the curtain for easy removal for cleaning so on the day of “every other day housekeeping” I laid it on the tub edge so it could be seen and be replaced. It apparently wasn’t seen. The tub was dirty with that light brown soap scum that happens. And the tub faucet dripped constantly. Housekeeping just doesn’t exist. I thought the bathroom would at least be vacuumed but thought wrong. The coffee machine was not replenished. It was just a disappointing stay.

Bathroom needs improvement, otherwise perfect. Everything was excellent but the bathroom was not eco friendly. No electrical outlets, door was too big for the size of the room causing it very difficult to move around it from the commode. (I stubbed my toes several times because of it. Don’t care for the walk-in shower without a vent fan causing the mirrors to fog up. Shower floor was slick. A shower grip mat could fix that.

AC was LOUD. Second room refresh of the week was disappointing. Just towels and bed sheets pulled up. No coffee refill or tidying up. Front desk staff was great

AWFUL Even though paying over a thousand dollars, I felt like I got the “Motel 6” experience! ALL the ice machines were broken down the entire week. I always had to go down to front desk for ice the entire time! Housekeeping every other day and they did not vacuum at all. Air conditioning so high I was freezing. No way to control it other than turning it off which then resulted in suffocating heat. With the exception of the delightful “Andrea” (weekend front desk) staff was aloof, hard to find and unprofessional. Food was awful. Will never stay here again! Especially at those prices.

Andrea is the manager and she was very kind and friendly. It was always nice to see her smiling behind the counter when coming back into the hotel.
