Stayed for one night in 9th floor twin room. Exactly what we needed for a one night stay although the twin beds were rather small. No air con and quite stuffy at night. Didn’t do breakfast as extra €20ea, so nearby bakery was found. All in all, lovely hotel on the seafront.

Booked the property as it advertised free parking however no parking and we have to find space on street and pay for parking .shower drain wasn’t draining properly so back up when we had shower and flooding the bathroom to room , I mentioned to them on check out but surprisedly looks like they knew the issue . Safe in room wasn’t working and although staff use the master code , it won’t open.I would’ve book my first chose for booking if I knew the parking and drain and safe .staff are friendly Thu

Prima hotel. Kleine gezellige kamer. Mooie moderne badkamer. Alles heel schoon. Lekker bed. Iedere dag gratis fleswater op de kamer, Heel vriendelijk personeel Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt. In centrum gelegen en tegenover tram halte. Enige nadeel : erg warme kamer, geen airco.

Wij verbleven er in Paasweekend 2024 en we waren aangenaam verrast. We kregen een kamer op de achtste verdieping met zicht op de duinen en het stadje en zijdelings zeezicht. What a vieuw ! In de kamer lagen er zelfs kleine attenties voor ons klaar voor het paasweekend. Dit was een aangename verrassing. Ook ons klein hondje was meer dan welkom. Het ontbijt was top. Het is een buffet met alles erop en eraan, keuze genoeg uit diverse broodjes en ontbijtkoeken, allerlei soorten beleg, eitjes, yoghurt, fruit, honing, diverse fruitsappen, koffie, thee enz.. Er werd stelselmatig bijgevuld. We kwamen zeker niets te kort. Het personeel was vriendelijk tot en met. Niets was hen te veel. Leuk dat we met onze viervoeter in een aparte lounge mochten ontbijten. In hotel Excelsior voel je je meer dan thuis. We komen zeker en vast terug! Het hotel is een pareltje gelegen aan het strand te Middelkerke.
