Treehouse Bungalow- Quaint and Cozy Getaway!

What a disappointment, proceed with caution! This property is a “business storefront” and the main floor is an abandoned for sale property. The neighborhood is questionable at best. Run down homes and properties along with abandoned buildings. It is no coincidence that they provide no exterior photos of the property. Upon arrival we left because we did not feel the area was safe enough to stay in. We asked for a refund and the property owner refused as she thought we were too sensitive to the condition of the building itself as the rental unit upstairs is nicely remodeled.

Not what we expected Pictures are super cute online. This is actually a makeshift apartment in the upstairs of an old run-down house in a sketchy part of town. After being at the beach that day we were hot and tired. Very disappointed to arrive to our VRBO that was 91 degrees inside. After 4-5 hours it finally got cool enough for us to sleep. The floors were uneven and potentially unstable. The outside yard is in poor condition as well as the wooden stair case leading up to the unit. The unit itself had an odor. The shower is an old tub which is cute but not stable- nothing to hold on to. The vent fan didn’t work. There is no dishwasher so plan to wash dishes by hand. Would not recommend for anyone with mobility or balance issues or anyone with younger children who might want to jump and play. Not worth the money.

All is good! Very nice, comfortable stay
