Ibis Metz Centre Cathédrale

We booked for a double roome with 2 beds, it is a very small room (yes, I knew this in advance) but since we only stayed for 1 night only. that was fine. If we have two big suitcases and we need to unfold both, we need to find our own arrangements. Anyhow, in general, the breakfast service was good! The reception desk was very kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is not far from city center, located in a very quite place for living habitats I think. I give 4.5 / 5 points.

Oh dear where do I start - the location may be great but the hotel is deeply disappointing. Bedroom is like a cell, grey walls and very small, genuinely 6 inches of room on one side of the bed. One member of staff on duty to do both reception and bar, I felt sorry for her running from one job to another with an ever increasing queue, oh and cooking pizzas for hungry guests in between.. restaurant not open of course. We've stayed in Ibis/Accor hotels before but never again.

Quick stopover Straightforward overnight stay. Bed was comfy. Good breakfast. Some areas a little tired.

Solid three star It’s a solid three star hotel. It’s clean enough and though the room is a bit small, it’s a bed to sleep in. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money this is the place.
