Small downside for the gentleman at the reception who was very friendly, but who asked me for an identity document. So I gave him my driving license issued by the state and therefore serves as an identity document accepted in France from the moment the photo on the document resembles the person.
Fortunately my wife had hers, otherwise he would not have accepted us.
After research his explanations were completely false.

L'hôtel est bien situé, à deux pas de la gare et à quelques minutes à pied du centre. Le personnel est agréable. Mais l'hôtel est dans son jus des années 80 (ah, les moquettes à fleurs dans les couloirs !), et il a un besoin urgent de rénovation. Les chambres sont très exiguës, la douche est avec un rideau d'un autre âge, l'ascenseur est sous-dimensionnné pour desservir toutes les chambres (heureusement que nous n'étions pas au 4eme étage car nous avons pris l'escalier pendant tout notre séjour). Hôtel globalement pas au niveau du label Ibis.

Très propre mais peu confortable
Hôtel très très propre, excellent petit déjeuner. Literie très dure, couette au ras du lit pas assez large, chambre petite ne correspondant pas aux photos lors de la réservation, serrure de la chambre et de la salle de bain défectueuse, tout mériterait un gros rafraîchissement

Très bon accueil.
Accueil très chaleureux que ça soit la charmante hôtesse d'accueil ou ses deux collègues qui sont disponibles à toute heure.
Petit balcon agréable pour prendre l'air et profiter de la vue sur la tour.
