Residence Inn Phoenix Mesa East

This hotel is brand new and sparkling clean. We have a very nice suite. Kitchen, separate bedroom, big bathroom, on the top floor, so no noise from neighbours. Do ask for a room on the north side as the other side overlooks the highway and is probably noisy. We have no traffic noise. The people that complained about no hot water just didn’t let the water run long enough. Eventually it gets hot. I don’t know where the boiler is, but it must come from a long ways away. So far we have found the staff extremely pleasant and accommodating. Every new hotel has kinks to iron out and I feel they are doing well. The only negative thing I would say is that there isn’t very much around the hotel. For us it is fine as we are visiting family near by, but for other vacationers, is it pretty far out with not much to do in close proximity. You can’t walk anywhere, so a car is a must.

Overall, the property was amazing. The only thing that faltered. My trip was the lack of hot water to the sink and shower. I didn’t complain though so my bad.

Dirty bed and room never cleaned Checked in because water off at home. Room was no very clean bathroom dirty and bed had big stains and crusty. Asked for it to be changed had to change the bed myself.

I liked the swimming pool

The facility was nice but the breakfast wasn't that impressive. Oatmeal was add hot water to a package. There was no waffle maker for hot, fresh waffles. Eggs were just lukewarm and sometimes even cold. They really dropped the ball on the breakfast side of things.
