Homewood Suites by Hilton Raleigh - Crabtree Valley

The location of this hotel was great there's a lot in the area; However, I was not happy with the service during my stay. I was supposed to stay for 3 months for work and cut it short within 3 weeks which seemed like the longest 3 weeks of my life. This hotel needs to be shut down and have major repairs done. The carpet and walls are disgusting, and the bathroom in my room was very nasty. I asked for things at the front desk that should've already been in the room or kept at the front desk and was told to find someone on the floor to help me. I should NOT have to track down housekeeping, and they don't speak any English which was frustrating trying to explain what I needed. The laundry room was dirty; I had to go somewhere else to wash clothes. The halfway working elevator was disgusting; I was stuck inside because doors would not close all the way and was stuck on the 6th floor. There were bugs in the room, and furniture chipping. I do not have a physical key card I use the Hilton App on my phone I was not able to gain entry to the side doors of the building as the doors were not working which did not make me feel safe, as the hotel is surrounded by woods and bushes. I witnessed about 15 vehicles get their cars broken into and personal items thrown all over the parking lot, this is a BIG hotel there should be Security!! If you have a little extra coins do yourself a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! This was a horrible stay, and I am a Hilton Diamond Member.

Family of 3 stayed here for our sons baseball tournament. We arrived at 1130pm on Friday after a 6 hr drive (after school and work). We have a 10am game and planned to get our 11yo to bed right away.This is not on bar with other Homewood suites. we always request room away from the elevator due to noise however this room was near the elevator and the construction of the room caused the room to have a weird angle. Due to the angle of room and placement of furniture we couldn't open the sofa bed for our son. We requested another room they claimed they were completely booked. WE had to rearrange the furniture to open the sofa bed. There was a mattress cover already present but no linen in the room for the pull and only 2 towel and 2 WC for 3 people. My husband goes downstairs for linen and he was told due her being the only one on duty she could not leave the front desk. After going back and forth for 15minutes and redusing to accpet no as am answer he receives linen and at this.poinr it is 1230am. Thankfully we travel with a very thick mattress cover because the mattress is very thin and old. The mattress in the bedroom was very uncomfortable and bouncy. The toilet was loud and water needed to be turned off over night. Carpet are snagged and ceiling fan was too loud to use at night. We looked for another room but with a tournament at 10am and checkout at 11 we unfortunately need to suck it up. I do not recommend. Hilton do better.

They did not provide towels after the house clean , we were in rush to attend my sons graduation , but at service desk they were like they don’t have wait for cleaning service There was no refilling of body wash

Bathroom door would not close, it was swollen and jammed. 'The shower rod was broken; it hung down and would not let the curtain keep water from getting on the floor.

We checked in and checked out in 15 min. It was a non refundable reservation and now ******* will not refund. The accomodations and experience should negate their policy and we should be refunded. We were only there for 15 min and that time was spent in conversation about leaving.

Nice layout of property, friendly staff and good options of breakfast and location. Hotel does needs a refresh painting bathroom fans desperately needs cleaning. Cabinet doors mis aligned.
