STRONG ADVOCATES! Stunning experience with a Bulang family. We stayed in the quaint guesthouse in the standalone suite with two double bed rooms and a sweet balcony and tea table. The design is soothing and surrounding nature is a welcomed change for city dwellers. That said, one has to be ready for this proximity to nature (mosquito repellent and ear plugs for early rooster crows). It was the perfect start to our exploration in Yunnan as the host and her brother’s family took us under their wing to show us the tea plantation, roasting, and how to appreciate the local teas. This truly was a most beautiful experience of the warmest hospitality and such vivid insights about the community and stories of development that has been experienced. We learnt so much about the tea varieties and traditions here, giving us anthropological insights and inspiring stories of resilience and growth. The village is well sized for walking around to the tea plantation, temple, cultural museum, and sunset lookout. Do give yourself a couple of days here at least.

Highly recommended. The sanitary environment is very good. Sister Yuyan is very enthusiastic. A very lovely woman. Yuyan Yuyan, we like you🫶🏼. We will come to play with you next time. It is not very commercial. Friends who like Brown culture are recommended to come. Those who like tea culture are also welcome to come.

A very distinctive B&B, located in the thousand-year-old ancient village of Zhanglang Village, surrounded by high mountains and deep valleys, the original scenery is well preserved, and the geographical location is superior. The owner is a Bulang girl who loves life, knows tea very well, is also a great photographer, and will take guests to explore the rainforest. Coming here will give you a different feeling. I just left and I'm already thinking about when to go again. I recommend it.

This B&B is definitely worth staying in. The room window offers a mountain view. Although the bathroom is shared, it's very clean. The hostess is very nice, and we were lucky enough to meet a group of interesting friends at the B&B. We sang together, hiked together, admired the stunning banyan trees together, had fun in the mountains together, and went river tracing together... It's a pity that we only had enough time to stay here for one day. We will definitely come back. See you later.

It's a great B&B. The owner also took us to the primeval forest to trek through the mountains and rivers. This place is very comfortable and there is no one to follow the crowd. It's a good place to go to Banwei and feel the Brown Minor. I will go there again when the weather gets hot to pick mushrooms.

It is still quite a long way from Menghai to Zhanglang Ancient Village. The proprietress specially drove to pick us up and also saw us off when leaving, which was very considerate. After checking in, we received one-stop service for food, drink, and entertainment, which felt very good. Eat: Breakfast is wood-fired hanging pot bean porridge, which is very delicious. I drank three large bowls around the stove and was satisfied. Lunch is mushrooms picked in the mountains. The bright red mushrooms are like elves in the mountains, so beautiful and spiritual. Simple mountain spring water stews into a mushroom soup with a strong aroma of fungus. Dinner is wild vegetables and pumpkin sprouts picked randomly by the roadside, which are also very delicious when stir-fried. By pounding bitter eggplant, pounding river bamboo shoots, and pounding tomatoes, you can taste the unique flavor of the mountains. I also ate their own wild honey, which was sweet to my heart. Drink: The landlady brought out various kinds of ancient tree tea and Pu'er tea for us to taste. With the sound of rain outside the tearoom and the faint fragrance of tea in the tearoom, we chatted about home affairs in an understated way. I felt that although the landlady is young, she has a sense of self-reliance. The sense of self-reliance and strength brings respect. Wan: Even though the lady boss is young, she got on her motorcycle and took the two of us on the muddy road in the mountains. She was very cool and comfortable. We were taken up the mountain to pick mushrooms, tea in the ecological tea garden, and ancient tea trees in the primeval forest. We also encountered wild Ganoderma lucidum on the way. Le: The Baixiang Temple in Zhanglang Ancient Village is particularly beautiful, and the thousand-year-old trees are particularly divine. I like the air, spring water, wild vegetables, ancient temples, sacred trees, and the simple and enthusiastic landlady here. Accommodation: A quaint wooden house. When you open the window, you can see the unique scenery in the mountains in different weather conditions. The mountains shrouded in clouds and mist after the rain, the sunset glow over the mountains and plains after the sky clears, the lush forests, and the clear air. Zhang Lang, your beauty, your purity, your tranquility remain in my memory. Thank you for meeting me!
