I recently stayed at Serenity Suites Hotel and had a great overall experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and had a calm, relaxing atmosphere, just what I needed for a short getaway.

I feel compelled to warn others about this accommodation. What was advertised on ******* as a simple, comfortable stay turned out to be one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve had while travelling. The room is located directly above a loud bar, full of swearing drunk people. From 5pm until midnight, we were subjected to deafening live music and sports that made the walls and floor shake. After the music ended, the noise continued with shouting, swearing, and arguments from the bar below. It was impossible to relax, let alone sleep, and I genuinely didn’t feel safe. We ended up walking around in the dark, late at night, just to escape the noise. The room itself was in poor condition. Dirty, dated, and clearly neglected. Both beds had visible stains and filth on the divan bases. The mattresses were uncomfortable — one sagged so badly it felt like I was falling off the bed. Each bed had only one pillow, both flat and worn out. I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet because I couldn’t trust the cleanliness of the mattress given the state it was in. The bathroom was equally disappointing. The shower light didn’t work, there was mould inside the shower, peeling paint on the ceiling, and no soap in the dispenser by the sink. The tap was loose, and we were given only half a toilet roll for a 3 night stay for 2 people. I messaged the host asking for more toilet paper and clean towels but got no reply. On the third day, we managed to catch a cleaner who told us they don’t usually replace towels during bookings and handed us a toilet roll which was the type used in pub toilet dispensers! That was the only help we received. We also asked about breakfast and were told the pub doesn’t serve food. Honestly, given the state of the room, that might have been a blessing. Outside, the property was just as neglected. The stairway was littered with cigarette ends, a filthy bucket full of cigarette butts at the top of the fire exit stairwell which ironically was the entrance to the accommodation, and the beer garden was covered in hundreds more. It was grim. The fire door on the landing, was propped open with a door wedge, it's a health and safety accident waiting to happen. This place should not be listed on ******* or anywhere else for that matter. The noise, the lack of cleanliness, the absence of basic hospitality — none of it was disclosed. It felt like we were misled. I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation to anyone. It’s not just disappointing — it’s unacceptable and should be condemned.

We enjoyed two nights here in the double and single room. It was great value for money and we enjoyed the stay. This is a pub with rooms and the hotel make it clear it may be noisy until 1145pm. It was fine and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. There is free parking and nice staff. We would stay again...despite the 7am walk up call from the burglar alarm 😆

I liked that it was in the heart of the Menai Bridge, close to shops restaurants/take-aways.. Monday night so it was very quiet in the pub downstairs. Helpful, friendly host I got the room at a bargain price Telly, tea/coffee making facilities, clean towels, private bathroom, hairdryer, clean Perfect for a short stay Thank you

5/5 Comfortable room, really lovely lady checked me in. It was noisy at closing time (people outside) but that's out of the hotel's control - the room was above a pub, so to be expected. Clean, nice cup of tea, lovely shower - it was a comfortable room and I will definitely book again for future trips.
